Location - where is Club Med Tignes

Tignes Val Claret Club Med is located:

  • 6 km from the traditional village of Val d’Isère

  • 15 km from the Hauts-de-Villaroger nature reserve, with its hiking paths where you can explore the local fauna (deer, wild boar, squirrels) and flora (Arolla pines, rhodedendrons)

  • 18 km from Sainte Foy Tarentaise, a mountain community with a number of hamlets: le Miroir, with its chapel and houses with stone pillars, and le Monal, a listed village at an altitude of 1,874 m, accessible only by foot (a one and a half hour walk)

  • 90 km from Albertville, which hosted the 1992 Winter Olympics.

Like a walk in the mountains, our main restaurant Le Val Claret offers an invitation to explore the resort and local and international flavours. Le Hameau, Le Sentier, L’Atelier and Le Lac (for families) are all spaces that make up this unique place that symbolises togetherness and diversity. From the cuisines of the world to local specialities, the buffet offers something to please everyone.

Gourmet Lounge Le Solstice

As its name suggests, the Gourmet Lounge celebrates the Summer Solstice with bonfires that light up the mountains every year. The subtle lighting creates an atmosphere that is both welcoming and sparkling, ideal for enjoying refined cuisine. The stone-clad wine cellar offers a selection of original regional wines.

Open for late lunches, at the sacred hour of teatime and in the evening for dinner served at your table by reservation.

Equinoxe

This is the nerve centre of the Resort, where, depending on the time of day, the cosy atmosphere gives way to a party ambiance and stunning shows. The colours, the patterns, the bare wood and stone create an energising mountain world. Get together around the fireplace to share good times or take in the view through the huge picture windows - there's nothing better than relaxing in the comfortable armchairs of L'Equinoxe.

This all inclusive holiday to Club Med Tignes in Tignes, France departs Sunday 11th December 2022, for a 7 night stay on a "all inclusive" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

Tignes is somewhere you can ski longer, higher and further than most other resorts in the Alps. Owing its snow-reliability to the Grande Motte glacier, the local ski area is joined with Val d’Isere’s to form the mammoth Espace Killy - intermediates will have a whale of a time here. Choose between 5 different villages, whether your priority is convenience, cosiness or cheap accommodation. Tignes also has one of the most famous New Year parties in the Alps.
