The World's Best New Ski Chalet in 2018 and nominated a top ten ‘sexiest chalet' of all time in The Times, this is no ordinary home for a week's holiday. Everyone said it couldn't be done but our friends Pierre and Fabrice are determined fellows. Until recently a sheepfold in the centre of the piste and in the middle of the beginners ski area, the two pioneers defied the odds, by some miracle satisfied the local planning authorities, and then set about creating a palace from the pile of stone and timber with their own bare hands.

CLUB 21 Forty is a completely unique chalet, located in splendid isolation on the beginners plateau and a hundred yards from Arc 2000. A five minute walk across the snow if you fancy an après-ski cocktail at the famous Taj-I Mah hotel, quicker but colder when you arrive with your bags and we chauffeur you from the resort in your private 6 person piste-ranger. The silence when the ski lifts stop for the day all around you is deafening, the 360-degree views dominated by Mont Blanc are spectacular and the sunsets followed by starlit skies are unforgettable.

Pop out of your bindings and you step into a cathedral of stone, glass and steel. The pictures don't lie. There are some outstanding features such as the vaulted living room with fireplace and comfy sofas, a spacious dining area and bar, a glass walkway to the suspended reading room mezzanine above, TV room and library. It's not often that a wellness area with swimming pool, counter-current jets and a sauna doesn't make it into the first two paragraphs.

Guests enjoy our CLUB service with a flexible menu plan offering a choice of dishes provided by the Chef and team of dedicated chalet hosts. Relax with a canapé reception every evening but one, breakfast & cleaning every day and equally important for many, free beer.

You don't need any more words from us, the pictures do the talking. Two thousand one hundred and forty meters up the mountain, (there is a clue in the chalet name !), it's on top of the world and in the middle of the piste. Totally unique.

Our Executive Chef is passionate about food and hugely sensitive to the appetite of a hungry skier whilst considering a balanced diet. The new and refined menus are heavy enough to reward mountain exertion yet light and simple enough to leave you grinning not groaning.

All our catered ski holidays include;

  • Breakfast: Cooked and continental options served 6 mornings; self-serve on your host's day off.
  • Afternoon Tea: Freshly baked cakes or biscuits, bread, jams, teas, coffee, and hot chocolate.
  • Dinner: A 3-course meal (6 nights) with wine, followed by cheese and coffee.
  • Canapés: Served on the first and last evenings.

Enjoy flexibility and ease with our transfer options. While the fun of your holiday starts the moment you arrive at your resort, we make getting there as smooth as possible. Choose from complimentary scheduled transfers from Geneva every Sunday, or upgrade to a private transfer starting at just £12 per person return for the Portes du Soleil, or £48 to the Tarentaise. Fly into your preferred airport - Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble, or Chambéry - and we’ll take care of the rest. Our team is here to assist with your travel plans, ensuring a seamless journey from airport to resort.
We have 4 transfers departing Geneva on Sundays throughout the season, and 4 return transfers to choose from. We do require confirmation of seat reservation and outbound flight details at time of accommodation balance payment to secure your seats.

This package holiday to CLUB 21Forty in Les Arcs, France departs Sunday 17th January 2027, for a 7 night stay on a "catered" board basis. Les Arcs came to be in 1968 after a group of ski instructors and architects dreamt up a resort with all the perks of a village but a mountainside location. As you'd expect from one of the biggest ski areas on the planet, there's everything from gorgeous tree-lined runs to wild, white-knuckle off-piste. For beginners, each of the 3 main Arcs has 'ski tranquille' zone, and the wide beginner runs leading to the resort have gentle gradients perfect for practising. Local instructors are on hand to show you the ropes, with ski schools based in each of the main villages (1800 has the most). If you're looking for a party, Arc 1800 is the place to be. With heaps of watering holes like the Red Hot Saloon (or the 'Red Bar' to use local lingo), Benji's and La Folie Douce. If you're looking for more of a French-style après spot, Ambiente Cafe has a really cool atmosphere and lots of nice cocktails (happy hour usually starts at 4) while Le club 1950 your venue if you're looking to party into the wee hours.
