Chalet Santons is an excellent NEW edition to catered chalet collection for Winter 2025/26. Located in an enviable ski-in, ski-

out location in Val d'Isere, Chalet Santons sleeps 14 guests in 7 en-suite twin / double bedrooms.

Chalet Santons is located in the Praz de Gittaz area of Val d'Isere on the easy section of the Santons piste. In the morning, simply step out from your chalet onto the piste and ski away on a gentle slope that allows you to reach the ski school meet points and main ski lifts in minutes. You'll ski past the excellent L'Etincelles restaurant, as well as Cocorico, one of the best apres ski venues in the Alps. The living area and bedrooms are all on the same floor, right beside Santons Piste. The spacious, light, open plan dinning lounge area with enclosed fire place looks out onto the balcony with stunning views of the Bellevard mountain. The lounge area is the perfect space to meet, chat and laugh about your ski day while Chalet Hosts serve you afternoon tea/coffee and our delicious home-made cakes while you play your favourite tunes on the Bluetooth speaker or enjoy watching the smart TV. Every bedroom has its own private en-suite facilities which include a WC, washbasin, shower or bath with a shower hung above the bath. The cosy bedrooms all have twin beds and these can be made into a double bed if you wish (please request at time of booking).

Pre-booked lift passes will be waiting for you when you arrive at the chalet. Pre-booking these essential extras makes skiing on arrival day even quicker, allowing you to maximise your time on the slopes.

On check in/check out days there is a bag store to use while you go skiing. A small change area and where possible a shower will be made available for you to use.

Self drive guests you can park for free in the underground car park, but book early as there are only a few spaces for this chalet (see details below).

Chalet Santons is a traditional French Apartment chalet, located within the Residence Le Gettaz on the first floor. Our other Val d'Isere chalets Cascade, Vallons and Charvez are in the same residence making these chalets a great option for a large group to stay together in the same residence. Each chalet has it's own private entrance.

You can book just one room or the whole chalet for your friends and family.

Note: No pets are allowed in this chalet.

Baby Cots – due to the compact size of the bedrooms, we are sorry that no bedroom is suitable for a cot.

Arrival Days & Check In

• Arrive on a Monday and stay for 3, 6 or 7 nights

Chalet Hosts day off is Tuesday and morning off is Saturday (these days will vary over Christmas and New Year).

Check in/Out :

On arrival day - you may arrive at Chalet Santons anytime from 09:30 to change, leave your bags and go skiing. Your bedroom will be ready by 17:00 at the latest but normally earlier.

Late Arrival Supplement - if you are scheduled to arrive at the chalet after 21:30 we will book a host to return to work to let you into the chalet, show you to your room, provide you with information to ensure your ski time is not delayed the next day and to provide you with a light supper. There is a small supplement for late arrivals.

On your departure day - bedroom checkout is 09:00 but we know that you may want to ski until the last minute, so we ensure that there is somewhere for you to leave your bags and change up until 5pm. Where possible a shower will be made available for you to use too; this cannot be guaranteed until your departure day.

Please note that on guest changeover days, between the hours of 09:30 and 17:00, both departing and arriving guests will be sharing the chalet public areas.

Getting To Your Chalet

Your mini-bus transfer from the airport will take you directly to the accommodation, and drop you at the door of the chalet.

Self drive - please pre-book one of the 3 FREE car parking spaces (shared between 4 chalets) when you book your holiday. No later than 14 days before travel please contact us to arrange access to the secure underground car park (max head height 2m). As its a secure car park, access is restricted to during host working hours only.

Ski & Boot Rooms - Chalet Santons has its own secure boot lockers with boot heaters located in a communal room with other chalets in the same building on the lower ground floor. Access to the boot room is by steps or a lift. Chalet Santons has three large, secure lockers for skis or boards only, located at the piste access entrance.

Under-ground Car Parking - located on the lower ground floor are 3 FREE car parking spaces, these are shared between all four of the chalets in the same building. Pre-booking your car parking space is essential. As its a secure car park, access is restricted to during host working hours only. On arrival you will be welcomed with tea and cake and before dinner on your first evening, there will be a welcome drink. Chalet Santons is a catered chalet with our Classic chalet board ; continental breakfast & d elicious afternoon tea and cake are served daily, hot breakfast options such as bacon, beans & eggs, sausage, tomatoes and eggs or a pancake stack and porridge with sprinkles are served on 5 mornings in addition to the continental breakfast.

Baguette To Go : at breakfast you will be invited to make your own ham & cheese baguette, to take out if you wish.

Chalet evening meals: we all look forward to the homemade 3-course evening meal with carefully selected wine included during dinner service, which is served on 6 evenings . This is all provided by your friendly host who lives out.

Host Time Off : Please note that your host in this chalet has Tuesday all day off and Saturday morning off, this gives you an opportunity to dine out on Tuesday evening in Val d'isere where there are plenty of lovely local restaurants, not to mention an excellent choice of bars and shops. On your hosts mornings off, you can help yourself to a delicious continental breakfast, freshly baked croissants delivered to your door, ham & cheese lunch baguettes to go and afternoon tea and cake will be available for you to self serve. During your stay, your host will cater for special diet requirements at no extra supplement , just so long a it is booked no later than a few weeks before travel.

For families with younger children, a children's menu can be pre booked before travel at no extra supplement. When booking the chalet for private sole use, an earlier children's dinner time (high tea) can be pre-booked for a supplement.

The kettle is always on at a chalet for you to help yourself to a great selection of hot drinks and your chalet host will ensure you will not go hungry and have food for energy for great days skiing.
