Location - where is Chalet Samuel

Courchevel Village: Set in a superb location on the edge of the Proveres piste and at the foot of the toboggan run, the exquisite Chalet Samuel provides outstanding ski convenience for your holiday with its ski-in/ski-out location. In the morning it is a short easy ski virtually from the front door to the Grangettes Telecabine, which accesses the whole of the Three Valleys ski area. Alternatively you can take the short, gentle downhill walk to the same Grangettes lift or catch the free ski bus which stops opposite the chalet and runs to a choice of other lifts. At the end of the day you can virtually ski back to the front door.

Overview - chalet description - Chalet Samuel description

Chalet Samuel combines timeless Alpine architecture with plush modern conveniences. As one of three properties in our chalet development in Courchevel village (originally our Chalet Trois S), its pedigree is second-to-none.
Built from stone and wood in a classic Alpine style, this chalet looks as if born by the Alps themselves. Featuring exposed industrial-style metalwork and reclaimed timber on its interior it is both cavernous and quaint in equal measure; some may say a quintessentially perfect chalet. With a separate dining room on the entrance floor, the loft-lounge is incredibly cosy and peaceful with its sumptuous relaxed seating, central wood burning stove and a balcony to drink in the stunning winterscape. In the heart of the chalet on the floor below are two of the three bedrooms, as well as the wellness area with its luxurious sauna and outdoor hot tub.
All bedrooms, furnished with handmade wooden furniture and warm, woollen fabrics, have the benefit of en suite facilities and zip-lock beds in room 2 allows the flexibility of having either a twin or king-sized double. The access, facilities and smaller size of this chalet will make it a clear favourite for families looking for a thoroughly memorable ski holiday in the Three Valleys.
As room 2 can be configured either as a twin or king-sized bed, we will make them up as twins unless we are advised otherwise.

This package holiday to Chalet Samuel in Courchevel, France departs Saturday 13th April 2019, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. Divided into five villages - each known by its altitude - the Courchevel area provides a series of settings to suit different tastes, group make-ups and budgets. For pure, champagne-popping indulgence, VIP area Courchevel 1850 oozes exclusivity and no-limits luxury. It's the largest and highest of the villages, and with a private airport, twelve Michelin stars between its restaurants, two palace hotels and a bundle of designer boutiques, it's a seriously swanky stomping ground for the fashionable, famous and aff...
Ideal for those at the genesis of their skiing career, a socking great 60% of slopes here are beginner friendly. There's a 'Stop Zone' where learners can safely conquer the basics before hitting the slopes, and 4 beginner areas (called Zen Zones) where you can gently progress – find two in the main area and one each in Moriond and Le Praz. As part of the effort to making the resort child friendly, fun for sprogs the focus of the Indiens piste, where little ones can enjoy face painting, a treasure trail and many...
Après ski in 1850 is the height of sophistication. Enjoy a cosy fireside cocktail in Le Stanleys or Les Ducs de Savoie, two of the resort's many piano bars; sample fine wine and champagne in Le P'tit Drink or head to La Grange or L'Arc (formally Les Caves) for an uber posh clubbing scene. Down in 1650, you can fully appreciate the stunning surroundings at The Signal bar. Les Schuss is good for a quiet drink in a traditional Savoyarde setting and if you're looking for live music and a vibrant atmosphere, try Roc...
