Chalet Rosko Summary

Rosko, an open-plan 21-person chalet in Tignes les Brévières, is the perfect choice for large, sociable groups. The spacious chalet is located in the village’s Hauts des Brévières area, just 100-metres from the funicular-style lift that links you to the main lift station, pistes and village centre.

The airy accommodation, arranged over four floors, is beautifully constructed from traditional Savoyard wood and stone. It features all the amenities you would expect from a premium chalet, including a traditional wooden sauna and a balcony hot tub with panoramic views of the idyllic snowy mountains and lake. There is ample storage for skis and boards complete with heated boot warmers, so you know your equipment will be ready for action the following day.

Rosko has eight en-suite double/twin bedrooms, most of which have wrap-around balcony access, plus one large ensuite family room with capacity for up to five guests and a private balcony. None of the bedrooms adjoin social areas, so you can be sure of a peaceful night’s sleep after a long day on the slopes.

A highlight of the chalet is the extremely large banqueting table that lends itself perfectly to sociable dining. Off this area is a comfortable, open plan lounge with a crackling log burner and plenty of sofas, plus a separate snug offering UK TV, a choice of board games, a games console and a DVD player with a selection of movies. As an added bonus, on the lower ground floor, you’ll find a games room complete with a pool table and table football, which is particularly useful for keeping younger guests occupied.

We know how to make your holiday special. Each season we assemble a team of talented professionals who pride themselves on their exceptional service and are dedicated to creating the perfect alpine ambience.

We look forward to welcoming you to Rosko.

Please note during the Winter, Chardons Staff live in the on-site staff accommodation area and will carry out daily hot tub checks, and will be on hand to troubleshoot any issues throughout your stay.

Tignes (pronounced 'Teens' by Brits and 'Teenya' by the French) is one half of the vast ‘Tignes-Val d'Isere’ ski area, one of the biggest linked domains in France. High-altitude terrain and Grande Motte glacier skiing ensure the resort both opens earlier in the ski season and also closes later than most resorts, and we’ve even seen lifts running for stints of summer skiing. Split into 5 purpose-built villages with distinct characters, it's well linked by pistes, lifts and free buses. Tignes Le Lac (aka Tignes...
With varied pistes at a high altitude, the ski area has impressive powdered terrain for skiers and boarders alike. Beginners can practice on the nursery slopes at Le Lac and Le Lavachet, where you'll find gentle, quiet runs that are accessible via free beginners' lifts. Le Bollin at Val Claret is another conveniently situated green and Grattalu is a lovely wide blue for those wanting to build confidence. Tignes is incredible if you ski at an intermediate level, with miles of powdery blue and red runs includi...
While it's said that those who appreciate Tignes do so for the serious skiing over the après ski, this doesn't do justice to the fact that Tignes' 60+ bars/pubs and 4 night clubs provide some of the best nightlife in the Alps. All villages have their fair share of places to eat and drink, and with a shuttle bus service running 24 hours, you can enjoy your evening without worrying about the journey back. Jam bar is small but with a great atmosphere and Loop bar pretty much offers it all: with live sport, world c...

"The food was great! "

Shared chalet was new experience for us, but we certainly had a great time! We love Tignes Brevieres as its quiet and very pretty. The chalet has a rustic/old feel to it, but its very cosy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The chefs were polite and made us excellent food! We had an experienced chef who stuck to our dietary requirements. No one had any complaints. You have to walk down to the road to get to the lift that takes you up. But the ski storage was very helpful. You can ski back down at the end of the day.
