Chalet Perce Neige is in an excellent ski-in, ski-out location in the unique traffic-free resort of Avoriaz. Close to the resort centre, with easy access to all bars, restaurants and shops, Chalet Perce Neige is a traditional, quaint semi-detached wooden chalet with 5 bedrooms across 2 floors, open plan living area and sauna. The adjoining semi-detached chalet is Chalet Violetta. Chalet Violetta and Perce Neige share an entrance hall but have their own private access to each chalet from the hallway.

This chalet has been a guest favourite season after season, thanks to it's prime location and great value 3, 4 and 7 night breaks.

The chalet has a modern style with lots of savoir chalet charm. The open-plan living/dining means there's room for socialising on your chalet holiday and gives a warm and cosy ambience while watching the horse-drawn sleigh taxis trot past.

The cosy bedrooms are decorated with traditional wooden style furnishings to create a classic chalet feel. All have twin beds that can be be made up as doubles; please request at booking. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, 2 rooms have a separate shared wc. The heat adjustable wooden sauna with adjacent shower is perfect for relaxing in and rejuvenating tired muscles! The Ski & Boot room offers boot warmers. Members of the team live in the 2 rooms on the lower ground floor*.

It is just a short 2-minute walk to the nearest bars, including the Folie Douce & the Yeti bar. The traffic-free resort centre with shops, restaurants, cafes and the exhilarating Aquariaz water park is just a few minutes away from the chalet.

A snowcat resort taxi on arrival and departure in Avoriaz is included. This is a fun ride in a piste basher style vehicle, saving a 5 minute walk across snow from the Avoriaz Welcome Station (airport transfer drop off point and car park) to the chalet door, or you can take a magical horse and sleigh resort taxi (payable locally).

Staying at Chalet Perce Neige will give you the opportunity to genuinely ski to and from the door, enjoy après-ski bars on the doorstep and it's just minutes away from the traffic-free resort centre.

Note: No pets are alloweed in this chalet.

Families & Children

Arrival Days & Check In

  • Arrive on a Monday and stay for 3 or 7 nights
  • Arrive on a Thursday and stay for 4 or 7 nights

Chalet Host day off is Wednesday and morning off is a Saturday (these days will vary over Christmas and New Year).

Check in/Out :

On arrival day you may arrive at Chalet Perce Neige anytime from 09:30 to change, leave your bags and go skiing. Your bedroom will be ready by 17:00 at the latest but normally earlier.

Late Arrival Supplement - if you are scheduled to arrive at the chalet after 21:30 we will book a host to return to work to let you into the chalet, show you to your room, provide you with information to ensure your ski time is not delayed the next day and to provide you with a light supper. There is a small supplement for late arrivals.

On your departure day , bedroom checkout is 09:00 but we know that you may want to ski until the last minute, so we ensure that there is somewhere for you to leave your bags and change up until 5pm. Where possible a shower is made available for you to use too; this cannot be guaranteed until your departure day.

Please note that on guest changeover days, between the hours of 09:30 and 17:00, both departing and arriving guests will be sharing the chalet public areas.

Getting To Your Chalet

Your mini-bus transfer from the airport will drop you at the Avoriaz Welcome Station.

Also included in your chalet holiday with us is a snowcat resort taxi, to get you to and from the chalet door. This is a fun ride in a piste basher style vehicle, saving a 10 minute walk across snow from the Avoriaz Welcome Station, or you can take a magical horse and sleigh resort taxi (payable locally).

On arrival you will be welcomed with tea and cake and before dinner on your first evening, there will be a welcome drink. Chalet Perce Neige is a catered chalet with our Classic chalet board; continental breakfast & delicious afternoon tea and cake are served daily, hot breakfast options such as bacon, beans & eggs, sausage, tomatoes and eggs or a pancake stack and porridge with sprinkles are served on 5 mornings in addition to the continental breakfast.

Baguette To Go : at breakfast you will be invited to make your own ham & cheese baguette, to take out if you wish.

Chalet evening meals ; we all look forward to the homemade 3-course evening meal with carefully selected wine included during dinner service, which is served on 6 evenings . This is all provided by your friendly host who lives in.

Host Time Off: Please note that your host in this chalet has Wednesday all day off and Saturday morning off, this gives you an opportunity to dine out in the resort on Wednesday evening, where there are plenty of lovely local restaurants, not to mention an excellent choice of bars and shops. On your host mornings off, you can help yourself to a delicious continental breakfast, freshly baked croissants delivered to your door, ham & cheese lunch baguettes to go and afternoon tea and cake will be available for you to self serve. During your stay, your host will cater for special diet requirements at no extra supplement, just so long a it is booked no later than a few weeks before travel.

For families with younger children, a childrens menu can be pre booked before travel at no extra supplement. When booking the chalet for private sole use, an earlier childrens dinner time (high tea) can be pre-booked for a supplement.

The kettle is always on at a chalet, for you to help yourself to a great selection of hot drinks and your chalet host will ensure you will not go hungry and have food for energy for great days skiing.
