Overview - chalet description - Chalet Ossetra description

* Ski in/Ski out *
Chalet Ossetra
is the smaller neighbour of Chalet Beluga next door, and offers a more intimate space for smaller parties, accommodating 6-7 guests.The position is sensational; mind blowing views, piste and chair lifts all around you, and 100 metres from the ski school meeting point. In London terms, this isn't just Mayfair, its Buck Palace.

Spread over three floors this spacious chalet sits at the dizzying altitude of 1850m. The three en suite bedrooms can be presented as a twin or double and one room has an additional single bed (charged at half the adult price). The open plan living / dining area offers spectacular mountain panoramas and modern-day comfort, with flat screen TV and smart contemporary fire

Chalet Ossetra could not be more convenient for the lifts, in fact it is surrounded by piste, but fear not, we will transfer your bags to and from the chalet by snowcat. An adjacent public lift also whisks you to the upper resort level and the sensational Aquariaz water park, an absolute must for the kids.

For guests staying in Chalet Ossetra we recommend the ski hire service from Avoriaz Sport. The shop is a short walk from the chalet so once you are settled and have sampled the afternoon tea that awaits you on arrival a member of the Ski team will take you to the shop. We are confident you'll get the very best of service from the Avoriaz Sport team.

The wood-clad buildings have a striking appearance that set it apart from other destinations. Even more impressive is the 360° panorama of the Alps. Avoriaz is brilliantly located right in the centre of the Portes du Soleil ski area. Avoriaz is one of our favourite resorts to bring the family - thanks to a huge and central children's village, complete with a specialised snowboarding area, children can learn to ski and ride in a fun and safe environment. Avoriaz is one of the only resorts that has a Beginner Pass, letting you find your feet on easy terrain via 14 lifts without the expense of a full lift pass. Beginners-only piste Première Glisse gives you the chance to improve at your own pace, while Proclou and Q'monts are easy blues for cr...
Avoriaz has worked hard on it's apres game in the last few years, with the addition of a well-known apres go to 'La Folie Douce' for winter 2018. It has an array of restaurants, bars and off-slope activities that contribute to a lively après ski scene. Le Tavallion is an English themed pub for a home-from-home atmosphere, Shooters is good for party-lovers while Le Yak tends to be the venue of choice for late-night clubbing. Featured in the Michelin Gourmet plate guide, La Reserve is a place to fine-dine in st...
