Our guests come back to the Motxo (pronounced mot-show) year after year because of its warm and homely appeal. Like the neighbouring Chalet Hotel Casale, it's constructed from local stone and wood which gives it a really traditional mountain chalet feel, as does the grandfather clock and comfy leather sofas in the small lounge area.
It's a really spacious chalet too, with oodles of natural light throughout, high ceilings with chunky wooden beams and nicely sized bedrooms, all with plenty of storage.
Ski/board and boot storage in the entrance hall
Free Wi-Fi in the lounge
Free slopeside equipment storage
Wireless speaker and board games for your entertainment
Daily housekeeping with towels provided
Pre-bookable private nanny service available on request
Your chalet hosts live in
The chalet sleeps up to 24 people in 11 large, light and simply furnished rooms. Most rooms are twins but there are two triples and each has its own ensuite with a shower and wc.
Our chalet board basis is designed for skiers and boarders. Breakfast is a fairly extensive affair with cooked and continental options every day. Your daily afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you when you come in from the slopes.
Evening meals are a three-course set-menu with regionally inspired dishes and served with complimentary wine, all followed by fresh coffee.
•Most terrain in Andorra •English speaking ski schools •Family friendly
Soldeu and El Tarter are the more reserved neighbours of lively Pas de La Casa, and share the same Grandvalira ski area with the best skiing in the Pyrenees. Over 200km of slopes, three immaculately maintained snowparks, and enough mountain restaurants to keep even gastro-skiers occupied. Down at resort level great bars and restaurants let you take advantage of Andorra’s famous sunny afternoons and, if you’re looking for a trip to avoid the crowds and prices of the Alps, a ski holiday in Soldeu or El Tarter is hard to beat.
Great for •Beginners • Relaxed intermediates •Progressing freestylers •Budget conscious
