"Excellent! Good value way to ski Zermatt"

Kevin Solomon
5/ out of 5
We had absolutely fabulous time staying here. Our room was really nice, a little tight but fine for two men. The beds were comfortable, we had a nice TV and the bathroom and shower were fine. On a nice day you can get a good view of the Matterhorn. We had a balcony but as it was overcast we could only see half of the Matterhorn! Down below there’s Harry’s bar where you can stumble back to the chalet in 10 seconds. The food was excellent. The holiday was excellent value for money. We got a great deal on the price from SNO, and with chalet catering I only ended up spending about £200 in resort. They had afternoon tea, coffee and cake, dinners were very good and breakfasts really kept us going – we only had lunch out a couple of times.

"Good loc & hosts, communal area, food & wine could be better"

The chalet was ok, it’s a bit on the small side. The bedrooms were very nice but the living area wasn’t big enough for the number of people staying there, with hard seating around a relatively small table. The food was good, a little bit on the basic side and there could have been a bit more, but it was still nice and they cooked it well. The wine wasn’t great but it was alright. The hosts were great, very friendly, helpful and pleasant to talk to. We were definitely happy with the location, right next to the bus stop, within walking distance of some lifts and the town.
