With renovation to be completed ready for the winter 23/24 season. Chalet Macha is an exciting new addition to our portfolio of luxury chalets in Tignes.

The chalet sits alongside the Almes piste in Tignes Le Lac offering keen skiers direct access to the slopes and the opportunity to ski right to the back door. Also only a 5 minute walk from the centre of town.

Chalet Macha has 5 ensuite bedrooms allowing for groups of up to 10 people.

Room Types: Chalet Macha bedrooms

The bedrooms are newly renovated for the upcoming winter. Each room is uniquely decorated to a specific mountain theme displaying the quirky ideas of the artist owner. All rooms can be set up as doubles or twins to allow maximum flexibility for your group.

Each room has an ensuite bathroom and access to the balcony overlooking the mountains. All suites are equipped with TV with a wide range of channels and WIFI Internet.


Social

The top floor offers you a spacious and bright living room, beautifully furnished with a cosy sofa area surrounding the fireplace. The large dining table comfortably sits 10 guests and there is a bar area near the kitchen to sit and relax.

The upstairs space offers panoramic views of the Grand Sassiere, Tignes le Lac and Grand Motte.


Wellness

On the ground floor you will find the elegantly decorated welcoming entrance hall and ski room with boot heaters for each guest. The Spa includes an aquatic room with a large jacuzzi, infra-red sauna and shower room.


Meals: Chalet Macha food & drink

We employ only professional chefs here and we are constantly looking to exceed guests expectations of chalet dining. Our chefs design their own menus weekly using seasonal ingredients and local products. Our chefs are happy to cater to incorporate any diets or special requests into their menus.


Breakfast

Fresh fruit salad, homemade yogurts, fresh baguettes and croissants. The chef will also prepare a daily breakfast special.


Afternoon Tea

Come home to a freshly baked cake or perhaps a cheese charcuterie selection or homemade doughnuts for the kids!


Champagne + Canapes

Served every evening before dinner. Let us make you a cocktail or select something from our open bar.


Gourmet Dinner

Our professional chef will cook a 4 course dinner each evening using fresh ingredients and tailored to your tastes.

The wines are sourced from the best French vineyards, which we choose in the autumn to compliment the food we will serve in the winter. If you want to choose your own wine, feel free to browse our wine cave or ask the Chef for the best wine choice to accompany the evening dinner.

This accommodation only holiday to Chalet Macha in Tignes, France departs Saturday 20th April 2024, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. Tignes is somewhere you can ski longer, higher and further than most other resorts in the Alps. Owing its snow-reliability to the Grande Motte glacier, the local ski area is joined with Val d’Isere’s to form the mammoth Espace Killy - intermediates will have a whale of a time here. Choose between 5 different villages, whether your priority is convenience, cosiness or cheap accommodation. Tignes also has one of the most famous New Year parties in the Alps.
