Overview - chalet description - Chalet Le Grenier description

Chalet Le Grenier is a stunning ‘nearly’ ski-in/ski-out chalet, situated in the Morel region of Méribel. It enviably located just across the road from the Morel chairlift and the Hulotte piste allowing access to the snow. The chalet is large and imposing with 550m2 of exquisitely designed rooms arranged over five floors, with the added convenient benefit of a lift. Chalet Le Grenier has been created with relaxation and enjoyment at the forefront of its design.

The entrance to the chalet leads to a central foyer with birds eye view of the living and dining area on the level below. A well-equipped boot room and cloakroom are located on this floor with their own separate entrance. Above, is the games room hideaway with snooker table, wide screen TV and comfy sofas.

Below the entrance foyer is the main living area with triple height windows and panoramic mountain views. Wide glass doors open up to the large sunny terrace with outdoor seating. Inviting comfy sofas surround a central fireplace before leading into the dining area and kitchen. The TV snug has a widescreen TV with Sky and Apple TV and this adjoins a study/library.

On the lower two levels, there are two master bedroom suites and an additional four double/twin bedrooms. Impeccably designed and furnished, all bedrooms are generously sized and have separate marble tiled en-suites with a bath and shower. Every bedroom has a Bose sound system and mood lighting. Five of the bedrooms have direct access to a balcony or terrace with wonderful mountain views.

The spa is located on the lower ground floor of the chalet and provides the perfect environment to unwind after a day on the slopes. The stunning sunken Jacuzzi is large enough to fit the whole family and leads to the sauna and massage room. If you need to keep up with training while away, there is a gym with a state of the art treadmill and bike and a fully integrated sound/TV system.

Chalet Le Grenier is the perfect ski-in/ski-out family chalet (10m from slopes) and the bespoke service provides guests with an unforgettable stay. No Pets allowed.

Chalet Le Grenier is sold and managed on behalf of SAS Snow Mountain Chalets.

This accommodation only holiday to Chalet Le Grenier in Meribel & Mottaret, France departs Sunday 19th April 2020, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

3 Valleys ski area Excellent ski schools Lively après ski

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.

Meribel's location is tricky to beat, slap bang in the centre of the mammoth Three Valleys ski area. British made and largely Brit run, it's a destination we flock to year after year for a homely atmosphere in a good looking resort with more than enough pistes for a week (or three). It's made up of a huddle of gorgeous hamlets, built in traditional wood and stone and surrounded by thick woodland. The main area is Meribel Centre (usually known just as Meribel). A trad alpine village with choc-box chalets, th...
With three beginner areas known as ‘Zen Zones' plus some good greens to practice on including Le Foret, Altiport and the Cool Moon area (carefully planned out so you can practice at your own pace in quiet surroundings), Meribel's one of the best ski resorts to learn in. If you're skiing with little ones there are fantastic ski schools and child-orientated areas, including animal sculptures scattered around the trees. Moon Wild is a special area where children can learn about local wildlife as they enjoy the s...
Whether your day on the hill leaves you wanting to relax with a vin chaud, have a pint and play pool, or party the night away, your time off the slopes can be as varied as the day spent cruising the incredible Trois Vallees. It’s said that you haven't experienced après ski here (or anywhere for that matter) until you've sampled toffee vodka in Le Rond Point, which is easily one of the most famous après ski bars in the world - complete with a slide down to the toilets! Meribel's rightly famous for its night...
