Overview - chalet description - Chalet Le Cedre Blanc description

We're proud to say that the Chalet Cedre Blanc offers an authentic chalet experience in the Alps and gives you a greater choice and quality of chalets in Meribel.

The chalet is a high-quality property with a stylish interior throughout. Set over three floors, the chalet has six comfortable bedrooms with modern en suite bathrooms. The light wood panelled walls add to the bright and airy feel of the property.

The open plan living and dining area provides a comfortable area to unwind, with lovely sofas to relax on in front of the open fireplace. From here sliding doors lead onto the south west facing balcony, with stunning views of the Méribel valley.

The main ski lifts and centre of Méribel Centre are only ten minutes’ walk from the chalet. For skiing, it is a four minute flat walk to the bus stops that links the centre of the resort with the Altiport, giving you the flexibility of choosing whether to start at the Chaudanne lifts or go up to the Morel chairlift or Rond Point des Pistes. Buses come along every 15-20 minutes, so with buses in both directions leading directly to the slopes, you’ll never have to wait long.

This package holiday to Chalet Le Cedre Blanc in Meribel & Mottaret, France departs Saturday 2nd April 2022, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

3 Valleys ski area Excellent ski schools Lively après ski

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.

Meribel's location is tricky to beat, slap bang in the centre of the mammoth Three Valleys ski area. British made, and largely Brit run, it's a destination we flock to year after year for a homely atmosphere in a good looking resort with more than enough pistes for a week (or three). It's made up of a huddle of gorgeous hamlets, built in traditional wood and stone and surrounded by thick woodland. The main area is Meribel Centre (usually known just as Meribel). A traditional alpine village with choc-box chale...
Meribel is one of the best ski resorts to learn in. There are three beginner areas known as 'Ski Facile' (easy ski) plus great green pistes to practise on including Le Foret and Altiport. Both runs are carefully planned out so you can practice at your own pace in quiet surroundings. If you're skiing with children, there are fantastic ski schools and child-orientated areas, including animal sculptures scattered around the trees at the 'Pistes des Animaux' where children can learn about local wildlife as they e...
Whether your day on the hill leaves you wanting to relax with a vin chaud, have a pint and play pool, or party the night away, your time off the slopes can be as varied as the day spent cruising the incredible Trois Vallees. It's said that you haven't experienced après ski here (or anywhere for that matter) until you've sampled toffee vodka in Le Rond Point, which is easily one of the most famous après ski bars in the world - complete with a slide down to the toilets! Meribel's rightly famous for its nightl...

This popular and recently renovated catered chalet is airy and spacious, with picture perfect views over the valley from the floor to ceiling windows in the lounge and from the sun terrace. The resorts famous nightlife is just a ten minute walk away, as are the lifts that will give you access to the entire 3 valley area, though the complimentary mini bus to and from the slopes makes the journey even more of a breeze! Don't miss après ski at the Rond Point and then on to beers at Barometer with one of their heavenly toasties!
