The chalet Le 1550, located in the residential area of Les Brigues in Courchevel Village, is the perfect balance between modernity and authenticity.

This chalet is an architectural gem. It is a top of the range chalet and joins the very private circle of exceptional chalets in Courchevel.

This magnificent contemporary chalet is the result of a collaborative effort between the interior designer Rémi Giffon, the project manager Benjamin Mauris and the owner, a mountain enthusiast. For the three men, the chalet had to be authentic but with a young and family spirit. The codes of the mountain are very present with the use of noble materials such as wood, stone and glass. The style is modern, the lines are pure and one detail makes it unique: one and the same wood, a steamed Jura oak with colours close to walnut, enhances the floor, walls and ceiling.

You will enter through a hall that leads to the cosy and very chic ski-room of the chalet. The stairs lead up to the infinity pool which is surely one of the most spectacular rooms in the chalet. Beyond its generous dimensions (more than eleven metres long) which will delight large families, the backlit photo of the Vanoise massif reflected in the pool water gives the impression of a bath under the Grande Casse.

The particularity of this project lies in the desire to frame a breathtaking landscape: in the three living areas articulated around the central fireplace, the immense horizontal bay window offers the occupants of the chalet breathtaking panoramic views of the Grand Bec, Mont Jovet, the dent du Villard and the valley. The metal staircase that leads to the chalet's bedrooms runs along a vertical glass roof over 9 metres high that provides natural light to the different floors.

The choice of furniture and materials was an important criterion in the creation of this prestigious chalet. The Bonneval cloth - a natural fabric - for which the Arpin spinning mill is renowned, is used in all the rooms of the chalet and reinforces the authentic and friendly atmosphere of the Le 1550 chalet.
