Chalet Lauzes is a ski-in/out traditional, quaint, cosy, stand-alone wooden chalet, close to the resort center of Avoriaz. The chalet has 4 bedrooms across 2 floors and allows you to ski to and from the door and enjoy après-ski bars just minutes away.
Inside its' chocolate box exterior, this chalet is traditional in style. The open-plan living/dining area and kitchen means there's room for socialising together on your chalet holiday and gives a warm and cosy ambience. This is one of our smaller chalets, ideal for short ski breaks.
The rooms are decorated with traditional wooden style furnishings to create a classic chalet feel. The chalet offers 3 twin/doubles and 1 twin bedroom. All bedrooms have either en-suite or dedicated, separate bathrooms. The heat adjustable wooden sauna with adjacent shower is perfect for relaxing in and rejuvenating tired muscles! The Ski & Boot room offers boot warmers.
Chalet Lauzes is located near our other 4 chalets in Avoriaz. its just a short 2-minute walk to the nearest apres-ski bars, including the Folie Douce and the Yeti bar. The traffic-free resort centre with shops, restaurants, cafes and the exhilarating Aquariaz water park is just a few minute's walk away.
A snowcat resort taxi on arrival and departure in Avoriaz is included. This is a fun ride in a piste basher style vehicle, saving a 5 minute walk across the snow from the Avoriaz Welcome Station (airport transfer drop off point and car park) to the chalet door, or you can take a magical horse and sleigh resort taxi (payable locally).

Getting To Your Chalet
Your mini-bus transfer from the airport will drop you at the Avoriaz Welcome Station.
Shared, return Geneva airport transfers are included in your chalet holiday
If the shared transfer times do not work for your flight times, private transfers are available at a supplement
Please advise us before travel of any ski or snowboard bags you are bringing with you, for us to book a transfer that can accommodate these oversize bags
If you would like an early transfer from Geneva airport to Avoriaz, to be on the slopes in the morning, we recommend upgrading to a private transfer- please enquire

On arrival you will be welcomed with tea and cake and before dinner on your first evening, there will be a welcome drink. Chalet Lauze is a catered chalet with our Classic chalet board; continental breakfast & delicious afternoon tea and cake are served daily, hot breakfast options such as bacon, beans & eggs, sausage, tomatoes and eggs or a pancake stack and porridge with sprinkles are served on 5 mornings in addition to the continental breakfast.
Baguette To Go : at breakfast you will be invited to make your own ham & cheese baguette, to take out if you wish.
Chalet evening meals: we all look forward to the homemade 3-course evening meal with carefully selected wine included during dinner service, which is served on 6 evenings . This is all provided by your friendly host who lives in.
Host Time Off: Please note that your host in this chalet has Wednesday all day off and Saturday morning off, this gives you an opportunity to dine out in the resort on Wednesday evening, where there are plenty of lovely local restaurants, not to mention an excellent choice of bars and shops. On your host mornings off, you can help yourself to a delicious continental breakfast, freshly baked croissants delivered to your door, ham & cheese lunch baguettes to go and afternoon tea and cake will be available for you to self serve. During your stay, your host will cater for special diet requirements at no extra supplement , just so long a it is booked no later than a few weeks before travel.
For families with younger children, a children's menu can be pre booked before travel at no extra supplement. When booking the chalet for private sole use, an earlier children's dinner time (high tea) can be pre-booked for a supplement.
The kettle is always on at a chalet, for you to help yourself to a great selection of hot drinks and your chalet host will ensure you will not go hungry and have food for energy for great days skiing.
