While the charming alpine atmosphere will make you feel like you've stepped into a traditional winter wonderland, you'll find that Morzine is a contemporary resort with all mod-cons. The huge range of shops, restaurants, pubs, clubs and off-slope activities pretty much have everything for everyone and contribute to the friendly, buzzing village life. There's more to do on and off the slope than you can shake a ski pole at, including loads of activities for non-skiers, and après ski is lively and varied. Highl...
The scale of the mountain terrain is impressive and with the Portes du Soleil pass, seemingly endless. All abilities are catered for well and to top it off, you can heli-ski, speed ride and go night skiing on the Pleney. With excellent ski schools and conveniently located nursery slopes, Morzine is popular for novices. You'll find lots of gentle greens and easy blues for snowploughing including Gernes and Proclo. Beginner boarders are in expert hands too: Mint Snowboarding is a top school specialising in snowb...
Because it's a great resort for those with children in tow, the high quality of après ski in Morzine is often overlooked. You'll find a lively, friendly atmosphere after hours with a good range of venues to suit everyone (and with fantastic childcare services on offer, even parents can sample the nightlife). In terms of places to drink in Morzine, Le Robinson is a popular vintage bar offering a relaxed atmosphere. Crowds tend to gather at the foot of the slopes to party in Le Tremplin while local beers and cock...

"Great overall"

Overall a great holiday, minor irritations were 1) retrograde smoke coming down chimney when no fire lighted, you may need to check Carbon Monoxide levels 2) could not get DVD to work and TV in main room lost some channels when any bedroom TV’s were on 3) Room with the double bed is only large enough for a single bed! (this is in reality a 5 berth chalet). These paled into insignificance compared to our Chalet host Natalie who by popular consent was exceptional in every way. Helpful, charming, knowledgeable, a great cook and just professional in every way, in 30 years of Ski holidays I have never known better, you are very fortunate to have her on the team!

"A fantastic week in Chalet Kenai"

We had a wonderful week in Chalet Kenai. Natalie was a wonderful host who catered to our every need. She was very knowledgeable of the area and gave plenty of advice on bars/restaurants, ski areas and things to do in Morzine. The food was fantastic and of the highest quality. My girlfriend is a vegetarian which was no problem at all, Natalie had a different dinner for her every evening that was both healthy and tasty… not your typical pasta or pizza only options. The chalet is furnished to a high standard with plenty of warmth and very comfy beds. It’s in a great location with both lifts within easy walking distance. The only thing I could think to improve it would be a hot tub! Thank you for a wonderful week.

Very good overall. The food and service was great. It was an excellent weekly menu. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble including door stop skis and sledges. Our chalet host, Gabe, was very good overall. He was a fantastic cook and also knowledgeable on the area and ski runs and texted the nannies on our behalf to get ideas of what to do with under 3s in Morzine (who can’t ski!). Chalet Kenai is well located in Morzine, (close to lifts, shops) and was comfortable for our family, good balcony, overlooking town and pleney slopes. Overall we have had a great holiday and would definitely go skiing with this chalet company again.
