Chalet Hygge Summary

"Hygge" is a danish word used to describe comfortable surroundings that bring a sense of well-being. Nestled in the hamlet le Raffort in Meribel, chalet Hygge is a recently refurbished barn designed designed and furnished to a special sense of well-being. It is spread over three levels and offers 175 sq.m of living space for 8 adults and 4 children. Its' setting is ideal for snow lovers, dreaming of skiing down to their chalet. Guests can ski down the near-by Raffort ski run and either finish at the top of village and walk 2 minutes to the chalet makes it possible, or can slalom through the pine trees to join the chalet.

On the ground floor, you will find three very cozy bedrooms with designer bathrooms, one of them is a children's room with bunk beds. There is a hammam also. On the first floor there is a very bright and warm living space with soft carpets, comfortable blue sofas for a Zen atmosphere, designer fireplace and a hanging TV.

A door window will lead you to the balcony which has an irresistible view on the nature. You will also find a very pretty traditional room entirely in wood, just as bright, with a fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the bar and the dining room. The dining room has a large wooden table and a particularly refined chandelier. The top floor consists of a bedroom and a designer bathroom with shower.

The Chalet Hygge is perfect for families looking for peace, relaxation and a cozy cocoon to stay in.

Meribel's location is tricky to beat, slap bang in the centre of the mammoth Three Valleys ski area.
