Chalet Hotel Le Val d'Isère’s the perfect place to unwind after a big day on the hill. Besides comfortable bedrooms, guests have the bar and lounge area to relax in and make the most of the free Wi-Fi. It has armchairs and leather sofas – just the ticket for relaxing in the evening or enjoying a good book in the afternoon if you fancy some time off the slopes. You’re also free to take a dip in the heated outdoor pool, which makes for a very unique swim among snowy landscape!
Up on the hotel’s fourth floor, the dining room’s huge windows give fantastic views of mountains, snow-capped trees and pistes (including the Olympic downhill course, which is fabulously lit up at night time). Your breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meal with wine (all included in the price of your stay) will be served here.
The pool can be found just alongside the hotel - a private entrance to the Viva Salon on the 2nd floor allows you access. A range of Viva Salon treatments are available at the spa, including the ELEMIS Deeper Than Deep Hot Stone Massage and the ELEMIS Superfood Pro-Radiance facials.

Chalet Hotel Le Val d'Isère has four children’s clubs for youngsters aged 4 months to 12 years. Childcare is available Monday to Saturday and is fully staffed by expert qualified nannies.

We work closely with the Evolution 2 ski school, who offer tuition for children aged 4 years and up for an extra charge. If your kids are booked into childcare and this ski school, they will be dropped off and collected from morning lessons by our nannies, then bought back to the hotel for supervised lunch and activities – or taken back to afternoon lessons if need be.
If your little ones won’t be skiing but are booked into our children’s clubs, they’ll have all sorts of indoor and outdoor fun and games to enjoy each day.

Found on the fourth floor, our single rooms are south facing, cosy and comfortable with a standard double bed and an en-suite bathroom. Each room is accessed by a private, narrow staircase.

Our comfy twin rooms can be found on all floors, each with two single beds that have been pushed together, and an en-suite bathroom. Some are rear facing with no balcony, while others are south facing with a balcony.

Located on the ground, second and fourth floors, these comfy twin rooms are south facing and come with a balcony. Each have two single beds that have been pushed together as well as an en-suite bathroom. There is also room for a cot.

These large twin rooms feature two single beds pushed together and enough space for an extra child’s bed and a cot. Comfy and south facing, they can be found on the first and third floors, near the stairwell.

Found on the ground floor, second floor and fourth floor, these comfortable doubles feature a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. Rooms are rear facing and have space for a cot.

Our large, comfy double rooms have a standard double bed and space for an extra child’s bed and a cot. They have an en-suite bathroom and are rear facing. You can find these rooms on the second and fourth floors.

This very large room is rear facing and can be found on the fifth floor, accessed by a staircase. In it, there’s a king-sized double bed, a single bed, and space for an extra child’s bed and cot, as well as an en-suite bath and shower room.

Duplex room
Rear-facing, these mezzanine rooms can be found up on the fourth floor. Each room features a double bed on the entrance level, with a low ceiling and an en-suite bathroom. Narrow and steep wooden stairs lead to the mezzanine level, where there are two single beds – ideal for children aged 3 years+.

Family Room
One Family Room can be found on the second floor. You enter the bedroom to find a double bed and en-suite bathroom, then a further door takes you to a twin room featuring two single beds. This room has space for a cot and is rear-facing.

The hotel has two rear-facing Half Suites. Each has a balcony and one en-suite, located on the fourth floor. These bedrooms have space for a cot.

You enter a double room with an en-suite bathroom. A further door leads to a second bedroom featuring two single beds.

Family Suite
On the second floor, this one-of-a-kind Family Suite is made up of a double and twin room, each of which has its own entrance. The double room has its own en-suite bathroom, while the twin has an en-suite shower and basin (no toilet).
The set-up of this suite is great for families and also works for friends thanks to both bedrooms having their own entrance doors.
There is space for an extra child’s bed and cot.

Our dining room can be found high up on the hotel’s fourth floor – breakfast, afternoon tea and your evening meal with wine are all served there. Floor to ceiling windows let you dine alongside wonderful views of mountains and tree-lined slopes. You can see the Olympic Downhill Course from up here, which is illumined in the evenings giving sparkling sights of snowy trees.
Evening meals consist of 3 courses alongside wine. For children aged 12 and under, a children's high tea is available 7 days a week. On one evening of the week, dinner won’t be served in the hotel which gives you the chance to dine out in one of the fantastic local restaurants.
Our bar and lounge area can be found on the ground floor, by the reception. It’s a cosy place where guests can unwind on the tables and seats around the bar or on the comfy sofas by the open fire opposite.
