La Grange de Marie (sleeps 10) 1550m. The Chalet Grange de Marie has gone through extensive renovations over recent years converting it from one of Meribel's oldest farmhouse buildings into, what is, a wonderful chalet ideal for larger groups of up to 10 people.
Forming part of a traditional Savoyarde barn building, this beautiful building is positioned in the popular area of Morel, meaning access to the skiing from the nearby chairlift is extremely simple and avoids the busier area of Chaudanne at popular times of the day. It has superb, spacious and comfortable space and is furnished with traditional fixtures and fittings giving it a wonderful home from home Alpine feel. There is a really effective infa-red sauna in which to relax after a hard day on the slopes and the living room has the most wonderful balcony from which you can enjoy stunning views over a well-earned slice of cake or perhaps a chilled glass of House Wine! All bedrooms have modern ensuite bath and shower rooms and the large open-plan living/dining room has a huge wood-burner creating the ultimate evening ski resort atmosphere one could wish for.
La Grange de Marie is situated in Morel, one of the oldest parts of Meribel, set down from the famous Chez Kiki bar/restaurant. The Morel chairlift is a short (uphill) walk away and the bars and restaurants of 1600 are also easily accessible. The main Meribel square is about a 10 minute walk downhill and the local free bus stops nearby for those who prefer not to do the walk back up!
Chalet La Grange de Marie is superbly run by two of our hand-selected chalet hosts (likely a couple) who live out but nearby.

We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.

•3 Valleys ski area •Excellent ski schools •Lively après ski
Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.
