We were delighted two years ago to introduce Chalet Golden Eagle (Aigle d'Or) into our programme.
It is a very well maintained and smart chalet with fabulous views up and down the Courchevel valley. The wonderful, bright lounge and dining areas are very comfortable and spacious, with large French windows opening onto a South West facing balcony.
There are four fully ensuite twin bedrooms plus a very rare single room.
An interesting feature of Chalet Golden Eagle is its separate media room on the ground floor, away from the lounge. This room has a DVD player as well as access to channels you'd find on a typical Smart TV, such as Netflix.
The chalet's hammam is exclusively for guests' use and there's a handy shower next to it too.
Golden Eagle is next door to its sister chalet Eagle's Nest and the two chalets can be booked together.
Chalet Golden Eagle became a firm favourite amongst our Courchevel guests.
Ground floor: Ski and boot storage. Media room with Smart TV. Hammam with separate shower.
1st floor: Main entrance. 1 single room with shower and basin. Separate WC adjacent. Large lounge and dining areas. Ethanol fireplace. Kitchen. Large balcony.
2nd floor: 4 twin rooms, 3 with shower, basin, and wc; 1 with bath, shower and WC.
Chalet board: cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3-course evening meal with unlimited wine at dinner, coffee and mints 5 nights a week. Champagne reception with canapés on Sunday evening, with canapés and fizz on every other catered evening. Cheeseboard once a week.
You need a hearty breakfast before your day on the slopes. Breakfast is served 8am-9am.
There will be a tempting range of continental options, fresh crusty baguette, porridge and cooked breakfast. We serve it alongside the good stuff… Heinz baked beans and ketchup, HP sauce plus real teabags from the UK!
Tuck into tempting treats after your day on the mountain. Help yourself to a freshly baked cake or biscuits, baguette and jams, tea and coffee which will be laid out for your return to the chalet.
Canapes and fizz are served at 7:30pm as you unwind and relax for the evening. The fizz is from our friend and winemaker Nicolas Perret and is made just down the valley!
Dinner service is informal as we want you to feel at home in your chalet. Enjoy a home-made three course dinner using fantastic fresh produce.
Relax with coffee and chocolates after dinner… if you have any room left!
We serve unlimited red, white and rose wine with dinner, from bottles not boxes!
If you’re looking for an extra special treat we also have an upgrade Wine Lover’s Package. Mix and match 6 bottles of wine or 4 bottles of prosecco for £49pp.
If there’s anything you’d rather not eat, whether for moral, sensory or digestive reasons, please let us know before you travel. We won’t charge you a penny extra.
We can serve dinner early for your youngsters who will likely be worn out after a day in the snow.
Your Chalet Host will prepare home-made, nutritious and fun dinners the kids will love!
Please let us know if you would like early dinner times or have special requests by calling us.
Your Chalet Host has two days off during the week (usually Tuesday and Friday). We will lay out continental breakfast and afternoon tea to help yourself to.
In the evening, it’s a great chance to sample the local cuisine and your Guest Services Manager in resort will be happy to make a restaurant reservation for you.

Attractive, traditional and oozing style, Courchevel ticks all the boxes for a first class ski holiday. With masses of amenities and a quality area that’s well linked within the rest of the Three Valleys - not to mention an infectiously glam atmosphere - it’s no wonder Courchevel’s one of the most popular ski resorts in the world.
