We are delighted to introduce Chalet Golden Eagle (Aigle d'Or) into our programme for winter 2019/20.
It is a very well maintained and smart chalet with fabulous views up and down the Courchevel valley. The wonderful, bright lounge and dining areas are very comfortable and spacious, with large French windows opening onto a South West facing balcony.
There are four fully ensuite twin bedrooms plus a very rare single room.
An interesting feature of Chalet Golden Eagle is its separate media room on the ground floor, away from the lounge. This room has a DVD player as well as access to channels you'd find on a typical Smart TV, such as Netflix.
The chalet's hammam is exclusively for guests' use and there's a handy shower next to it too.
Golden Eagle is next door to its sister chalet Eagle's Nest and the two chalets can be booked together.
We are absolutely certain that Golden Eagle will become a firm favourite amongst our Courchevel guests.

Chalet board: cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3-course evening meal with unlimited wine at dinner, coffee and mints 5 nights a week. Champagne reception with canapés on Sunday evening, with canapés and fizz on every other catered evening. Cheeseboard once a week.

Food & Wine

Your day starts with freshly brewed tea or coffee (don’t worry, we bring real teabags from the UK) and a spread of fresh crusty baguette and jams, yoghurts, fruit, cereals and porridge on the table. The cooked breakfast menu changes every day but includes bacon, sausages, eggs, French toast, grilled tomato, succulent mushrooms, Heinz baked beans and HP sauce…

Once you’ve returned from your tough day on the slopes, homemade afternoon tea is served and favourites range from classic treats such as scones with cream and jam to squidgy brownies or raspberry and white chocolate cupcakes. In the evening we let our experienced hosts use their imaginations and the fantastic fresh produce we have to create a mouthwatering 3-course menu for the week.

Unlimited wine

Unlimited red, rosé and white wines (from bottles, not boxes!) are served through dinner, (with coffee and chocolates in the comfy seats after your meal!)

Wine Lovers' Package

If you’re a bit of a wine buff, you can pre-order our Wine Lover's Package which is just £48pp for 6 bottles of our upgraded selection - you choose whether you'd like 6 whites, 6 reds, our mixed selection or your very own combination of the above!

Special diets

Children are equally well looked after. If you wish your youngsters to have an earlier tea – all homemade, fresh and nutritious, of course – then please let us know in advance so we can pass the message on to your host.

If there’s anything you’d rather not eat, whether for moral, sensory or digestive reasons, please don’t hesitate to let us know before you travel. We won’t charge you a penny extra.

We update Chalet Golden Eagle's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

Divided into five villages - each known by its altitude - the Courchevel area provides a series of settings to suit different tastes, group make-ups and budgets. For pure, champagne-popping indulgence, VIP area Courchevel 1850 oozes exclusivity and no-limits luxury. It's the largest and highest of the villages, and with a private airport, twelve Michelin stars between its restaurants, two palace hotels and a bundle of designer boutiques, it's a seriously swanky stomping ground for the fashionable, famous and aff...
Ideal for those at the genesis of their skiing career, a socking great 60% of slopes here are beginner friendly. There's a 'Stop Zone' where learners can safely conquer the basics before hitting the slopes, and 4 beginner areas (called Zen Zones) where you can gently progress – find two in the main area and one each in Moriond and Le Praz. As part of the effort to making the resort child friendly, fun for sprogs the focus of the Indiens piste, where little ones can enjoy face painting, a treasure trail and many...
Après ski in 1850 is the height of sophistication. Enjoy a cosy fireside cocktail in Le Stanleys or Les Ducs de Savoie, two of the resort's many piano bars; sample fine wine and champagne in Le P'tit Drink or head to La Grange or l'ARC (formally Les Caves) for an uber posh clubbing scene. Down in 1650, you can fully appreciate the stunning surroundings at The Signal bar. Les Schuss is good for a quiet drink in a traditional Savoyarde setting and if you're looking for live music and a vibrant atmosphere, try Roc...
