Meal Basis: Chalet Board
Chalet Ellen is a traditional chalet building situated in the characterful old town of Morzine. The chalet has 4 floors and 5 bedrooms and is a classically styled chalet which has its own sauna. It offers a great standard of ski accommodation in the ski resort of Morzine, in the heart of the extensive Portes du Soleil ski area.
Featuring an open-plan lounge, diner and kitchen, you'll find comfy sofas to relax in after a day out on the slopes, a TV and a lovely log fire. The terrace gives you the opportunity to take in the views of the valley looking towards Avoriaz.
The rooms are bright and airy and are decorated with traditional wooden style furnishings. All bedrooms have en-suite or separate/private bathrooms. The heat adjustable wooden sauna with adjacent shower is perfect for relaxing in and rejuvenating tired muscles! The Ski & Boot room offers boot warmers.
The chalet is located just a short 10-minute walk from the old town centre in Morzine. The ski bus stops just 50m away from the chalet and takes you to Pleney for Les Gets or Prodains for Avoriaz.
Chalet board is included and consists of breakfast, afternoon tea and cake and dinner with wine, provided by your friendly host. Please note it's the chalet hosts day off on a Wednesday and Saturday. On these days hosts will leave breakfast and afternoon tea out for you, but the evening meal is not provided, which gives you an opportunity to dine out in Morzine, where there is no shortage of restaurants, not to mention an excellent choice of bars and shops.
