This package holiday to Chalet Du Pré in Morzine, France departs Sunday 19th March 2017, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. The huge range of shops, restaurants, pubs, clubs and off-slope activities pretty much have everything for everyone and contribute to the friendly, buzzing village life. There's more to do on and off the slope than you can shake a ski pole at, including loads of activities for non-skiers, and après ski is lively and varied. Highl...
The scale of the mountain terrain is impressive and with the Portes du Soleil pass, seemingly endless. All abilities are catered for well and to top it off, you can heli-ski, speed ride and go night skiing on the Pleney. With excellent ski schools and conveniently located nursery slopes, Morzine is popular for novices. You'll find lots of gentle greens and easy blues for snowploughing including Gernes and Proclo. Beginner boarders are in expert hands too: Mint Snowboarding is a top school specialising in snowb...
Because it's a great resort for those with children in tow, the high quality of après ski in Morzine is often overlooked. You'll find a lively, friendly atmosphere after hours with a good range of venues to suit everyone (and with fantastic childcare services on offer, even parents can sample the nightlife). In terms of places to drink in Morzine, Le Robinson is a popular vintage bar offering a relaxed atmosphere. Crowds tend to gather at the foot of the slopes to party in Le Tremplin while local beers and cock...

"Fantastic Morzine chalet!"

The chalet was fantastic. It’s a very nice place, we were a last minute booking and we fitted in well with everyone else which was great. There were some problems with the hot tub but they figured everything out in the end. The guys who looked after us were great and the food was good. The location meant that getting around was really easy, with small children as well. I would definitely recommend the chalet to other families.

This was a return visit for all 9 of us to Chalet du Pre. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The chalet is spacious and perfect for families. Alys and Harry looked after us all week and we're perfect hosts. The food was imaginative and delicious. This was the first time we used your nanny service. Kayleigh was extremely helpful in getting the kids to and from ski lessons and occupied them with an array of games. We will return.

We have had a lovely holiday with our one year old son, the child care being fantastic and meaning we could go out and ski together! Alys, our chalet host was brilliant. Quiet, but fun and engaging, nothing was ever too much trouble and the food was great. Our fellow guests were good fun too and I think we'll stay in touch with some of them. The chalet itself was very nicely located and was clean and spacious with plenty of room for the kids to run around. It was a little dissapointing in terms of its overall appointment though. The beds were a twin not a double and were very firm. Can't quite put my finger on it but I think we expected a little more from the chalet company as my wife has stayed with them in other resorts and felt this fell a little short. Not by much, we're just trying to give honest feedback.
