Overview - chalet description - Chalet Des Cimes II description

Des Cimes II and its sister chalet, Des Cimes I are perfectly located apartment-style chalets. They sit right on the slopes of Belle Plagne for incredibly easy access to the huge Paradise ski area and some amazing mountain views too..

If you're a couple of families or a small group of friends, you'll love this little home-from-home. It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms and the lounge comfortably seats everyone, but you'll be fighting for the best spot next to the fireplace!

Being an apartment-style chalet complex, you'll have access to the shared wellness facility a couple of times per week. Unwind in the sauna and hot tub or just take it easy in the relaxation area to really unwind. There's a small charge for using the facilities, but this can be paid for locally.

When we say 'on the slopes', we actually mean it. The chalet sits on the Roche De Mio blue run, and to get to the resort centre, it's an easy five minute walk thanks to the covered walkways in Belle Plagne. The equipment hire shop and a good selection of shops and bars are all close by too, so you're guaranteed a convenient stay.

Don’t forget that you get free guiding and coaching throughout the week from fully qualified ski and board instructors.

Designed for confident blue and red-run skiers and snowboarders, they'll show you around the mountain on free guiding sessions, and even offer free coaching sessions to help you become a more confident skier or snowboarder.

There are at least three sessions a week and we guarantee each guest at least two sessions a week. Your hosts will explain how it works when you get there.

Paradiski ski area Ski in, ski out High altitude skiing

A fabulous all-rounder: ski the Paradiski’s wonderful mix of tree-lined trails, knee-deep off piste and wide open cruisers, before returning to whichever purpose built village or age-old hamlet you’re staying in. La Plagne’s easily one of Europe’s best ski resorts and one we visit again and again.

In the Savoie region of the French Alps, La Plagne was established in the early sixties and now consists of 11 villages: 7 purpose built and 4 traditional. The aptly named Plagne Centre at the heart of the resort is the main hub of shops, restaurants and après ski. Just underneath lies Plagne 1800, a cluster of chalets spread across a steep hillside. Higher up are Aime-la-Plagne, Plagne-Soleil and Plagne-Villages, all accessible via chairlifts from Plagne Centre. Plagne Bellecote rests over a low ridge to th...
There are plenty of nursery slopes with access to free beginner lifts for those new to skiing. This is complimented by a wide choice of different ski schools ready to cater to your particular needs. The slopes around the Belle Plagne area are particularly suitable for beginners, with the blue run linking Les Bauches to Montchavin, providing a manageable step up in difficulty from the nursery slopes. For those who class themselves as intermediate standard skiers this really is paradise. 77% of the runs are gra...
It might not rival Val d'sere or Verbier for their wild party scenes, but this is an exceptional resort for unique après ski opportunities. Spend the night in the Black Sheep Igloos, facing Mont Blanc, complete with a fondue meal and a morning wakeup call with breakfast. If this isn’t your idea of fun then ice climbing in Champagny and husky sledding are also on offer. One experience not to be missed is the bobsleigh track, used for Olympic training. There are a variety of ways you can choose to go down it, bu...
