Chalet Delmontel (sleeps 8) 1650m. Chalet Delmontel is a beautiful freestanding Alpine wooden-clad chalet set in a peaceful and private location just above the Morel area of Meribel
It is situated in a very good position for skiing, close to the blue run which runs down into the village center and Chaudanne area. The decor has been cleverly carried out by its caring owners who have prided themselves in providing traditional Alpine style combined with comrfortable modern furnishings meaning it has been finished to a very high specification. There is a lovely cosy living room with log fire and a dining area that leads to a wonderful terrace on which to relax over a well earned cup of tea and slice of freshly-baked cake or perhaps a glass of chilled House wine - which ever is called for at the time! All bedrooms have ensuite facilities and the master bedroom has a large bathroom with large corner bath and freestanding shower. There is a sauna on the ground floor in which to relax and rest those weary legs after a hard day on the slopes.
Chalet Delmontel is located just a 5 minute downhill walk to the Morel chairlift and you can ski nearby at the end of the day. The village center with its many bars, restaurants and shops are about a 15 minute walk downhill (slightly more on the way back) however the free local bus stops close by if you prefer not to walk up the hill.
Chalet Delmontel will be run by one of our specially selected chalet hosts (with occasional help from a combi-host) who lives out.

We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.

•3 Valleys ski area •Excellent ski schools •Lively après ski
Meribel has a special place in many British hearts – not simply because it’s slap bang in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.
