The adults-only Chalet de mon Grand-Père gives you that proper chalet-holiday feel – relaxed, sociable and easy. The stay itself is run by our trusted partner in La Tania, with a dedicated host to help you settle in from the moment you arrive. And you’ll be in a handy spot too, about a 4-minute walk from the lifts, ski school and village centre, so getting out onto the mountain is nice and simple.
Back at the chalet, there are comfy shared spaces made for unwinding after a day on the slopes. The lounge is front and centre, with a fireplace for post-ski downtime, plus a cinema room if you fancy kicking back with a film. There’s also a hot tub on the balcony where you can soak with a snowy backdrop. And when it’s time to turn in, every bedroom has its own en suite, so you’ve got your own bathroom space whenever you need it. As for extras, the local chalet coordinator is on hand via WhatsApp to help with everything from taxis to massages and spa bookings.
Food has those classic chalet feels too. Mornings start with a hot buffet spread to set you up for the day. When you’re back from the slopes, there’s afternoon tea with tea, coffee and something sweet, and evenings bring 4-course dinners served by your host. Expect hearty, homemade-style dishes with local flavours. And once a week, there’s a traditional French raclette to tuck into – because melted cheese and mountain views are what ski holidays are all about. Drinks aren’t included with your stay, but you’ve plenty options locally to pick up whatever you fancy.
