Chalet Chamois Summary

NB: This is a "family" chalet, so all bookings must include at least one child or teenager.

Our second new chalet for 2021/22 after the addition of the Bramble and this one takes the prize for the closest to any skiing as it is right on the piste! The chalet benefits from a slightly different layout to the other Reberty chalets, allowing 3 or 4 families to comfortably share.

Our Reberty chalets have been so popular that we wanted to give you more options in this fabulous location in the 3 valleys. All five chalets are close to each other but the Chalet Chamois is the only one that is literally on the piste, the ‘Boyes’ run, which is a blue that leads down to the Bruyeres gondola or down to La Masse area.

The ground floor houses two rooms (for one or two families), the playroom, the sauna and the ski room. The first floor has the spacious public areas with large windows overlooking the piste and mountain and a door onto the terrace where you’ll find the hot tub. The fireplace is the centrepiece of the lounge and there are two bedrooms to be shared by one family (both have their own ensuite, naturally).

The second floor rooms are also shared by one family and situated under the eaves.

Chalet Features

  • Our exclusive in-chalet À La Carte Childcare for 6 days.
  • 6 days wholesome family breakfast: 5 days of which include cereals, porridge, yoghurts, pastries, fresh bread, choice of hot dishes, juices, tea and coffee. 1 day continental breakfast which includes croissants, bread, tea, coffee and juices.
  • Afternoon tea, coffee and cake awaits your return from the slopes 7 days a week.
  • Children’s 2 course high tea 7 evenings a week.
  • Apéritif with canapés.
  • Delicious three course meals with complimentary wines and coffee 6 evenings a week.

Families: Chalet Chamois for children

Our optional À La Carte Childcare is provided in the comfort of your own chalet 6 days a week by our childcare staff, nannies and Monty the Marmot. Our team create a welcoming ‘home away from home’ atmosphere the whole family will love.

Our childcare services take place in the ski chalet you stay in, not a large impersonal crèche.

Our childcare options are flexible and designed for skiing families, allowing you to book what most suits you and your children.

All of our chalets have their own dedicated playrooms.

Our professional carers are a mix of qualified nannies, teachers and nurses supported by experienced assistants. All are recruited by us in the UK.

Monty and all of our childcare professionals are enhanced CRB (now DBS) and reference checked and hold a first aid qualification.

Ratios follow OFSTED recommendations for day care.

Together with Saint Martin De Belleville and Val Thorens, Les Menuires (say it Lay-Men-Weer) is part of the Vallée des Belleville and is the cheapest base for skiing in the 3 Valleys. This purpose-built resort is more focussed on the practical than the aesthetic. Le Menuires is split into five villages - Preyerand, La Croisette, Les Fontanettes, Reberty and Les Bruyères, all linked by walking paths, ski runs, shuttle buses and lifts. Les Bruyères or Reberty have the sloping roofs and wood-cladding the Al...
The resort has aimed to provide a wide variety for all abilities – and the proof is in the pudding! The opportunities are outstanding for skiers and snowboarders, but you would expect no less considering it is a part of the world's largest ski area. Novices will find five free lifts either end of the resort for getting to grips on gentle little green runs and longer greens such as La Violette at the top of the gondola from La Croisette. With a healthy mix of reds and blue runs covering the vast majori...
End a day of skiing on the large sun terrace in L'Oisans and sit down in the sunshine with a jug of beer. Kick back with a cocktail or shoot some pool in the cosy Piano Bar Le Kube. Sports games can be watched on the TVs at Café Snack. If you ski over to Val Thorens be sure to go for some drinks at the famous Folie Douce. Those looking for some late-night action have 2 night clubs to choose between; Le New Pop in La Croisette or Le Liberty in Les Bruyères - an intimate underground bar with seats fashioned like...

"It was really nice."

It was really nice – we got upgraded to the Chalet Chamois which was ski in/ski out and had more space. The staff were very nice, really attentive and very friendly. I do feel like it needs a little bit of TLC. It looks a little bit run down, a lick of paint could do some good and a little varnish on the balcony. At the end of the day, we had a lovely family holiday. Half our party is dairy free & gluten free and the other half isn’t. My son who was one of the gluten free one and they sat down and really paid attention to his needs and his details and what they could make to ensure he would eat his the right stuff. The attention was lovely and it was the same for my daughter. For the adults, I felt like the food's been going downhill to be honest, and the same with the breakfast options as well. I think the menus have become very English, I have to say, and we're in France. We should be eating more French stuff, I think. We did have one fondue night though. I think we just didn’t have the best of chef’s to be honest, because we had another person training during the week for the following season, and his was cooking was delicious. The children all had good food and were very happy though. The chalet location was great - out of all the chalets that we’ve been to in the area, that was definitely the best one. It was ski in/ski out, it had a nicer communal area as well – bigger, more spacious etc.
