"Perfectly adequate with good facilities"

I found Chalet Cervinia very nice. It’s not a 5* hotel but that isn’t what I was expecting; for its category is was very good. Our room size was OK and the showers worked well, heating was perfectly fine. We enjoyed having the hot tub to come back to and there’s a nice balcony as well as a storage facility for skis. The food was OK, the guys were fairly young and inexperienced and there were some mishaps but anything that was pointed out was quickly corrected. For the chalet’s location, we didn’t really attempt to get anywhere apart from the ski lift, which is about a 5 minute walk away. The walk was a bit hilly so most people ended up getting off the slopes higher up and then coming back down through the houses (shame you couldn’t ski on the road as that would have been perfect). Chalet Cervinia is in a place called Les Eucherts, from which you can easily get to La Rosiere. You’re right on the entrance of a path that takes you through the woods to the main village.
