Chalet Cascade is a fabulous new edition to our catered chalet collection for Winter 2025/26. Located in an enviable ski-in, ski-out location just 700m from the centre of Val d'Isere, Chalet Cascade sleeps 11 guests in 6 en-suite bedrooms.

You can truly indulge yourself with our VIP chalet service, and take advantage of the outdoor hot tub, hamam/steam room, sauna and pool table.

The lounge and dining areas are being completetly refurbished for the winter 2025/26 season, to make them even more comfortable & stylish.

Chalet Cascade is located in the Praz de Gittaz area of Val d'Isere on the red Santons piste. In the morning, simply step out from your chalet onto the piste and ski away on a gentle slope that allows you to reach the ski school meet points and main ski lifts in minutes. You'll ski past the excellent L'Etincelles restaurant, as well as Cocorico, one of the best apres ski venues in the Alps.

Not only is Chalet Cascade in a great location, it has exceptional private facilities. There is an outdoor jacuzzi on the terrace which looks onto the stunning Bellevard mountain, perfect to slip into and relax after skiing. There is also a sauna and a hamman to help relax and revive ahead of your next days skiing in Val d'Isere & Tignes. You can then enjoy relaxing in the lounge & play a board game, or have fun on the pool table downstairs.

The spacious open plan dinning lounge area with an open log fire looks provides stunning views of the Bellevard mountain. Enjoy home-made cake and afternoon tea/coffee served by our Chalet Hosts whilst you play your favourite tunes connected to the Bluetooth speaker.

A delicious four course meal with bottled wine (rose, red and white) and port on cheese board evenings will be served at the one large social dining table. Your VIP board breakfast will set you up for a great day on the mountain with a great choice of a full English fry up, homemade pancakes, porridge and a continental selection.

Our chalet hosts days off, a larger continental breakfast will be laid out for you, as well as your daily afternoon cake. Also on the chalet hosts nights off, in the evening you have the opportunity to dine out in Val d'Isere where there are excellent local restaurants and a great choice of bars and shops to explore.

It is just a 15 minute walk from the centre of the village back to the chalet, or you can hop on the blue bus that runs every 15 minutes until 23:20 daily.

Every bedroom has its own private ensuite facilities which include a wc, washbasin, bath with a shower attachment or shower or bath with a shower hung above the bath. Several rooms have direct access onto the terrace where the jacuzzi is located. The cosy bedrooms all have twin single beds and these can be made into a double bed if you wish (please request at time of booking). One bedroom has just one single bed.

You can collect your pre-booked equipment hire from the nearest hire shop to the chalet which is a short walk or on the blue bus line. End the end of the day you may store your hire equipment at the hire shop or bring back to the chalet and use the chalet lockers and boot warmers.

Pre-booked lift passes will be waiting for you when you arrive at the chalet. Pre-booking these essential extras makes going skiing on arrival day even quicker, allowing you to maximise your time on the slopes.

On check in/check out days there is a bag store and shower area to use before and after skiing.

Self drive guests you can park for free in the underground car park, but book early as there are only a few spaces for this chalet.

Chalet Cascade is a traditional French Apartment chalet, located within the Residence Le Gettaz on the ground floor. Chalets Santons, Vallons and Charvez are in the same residence making these chalets a great option for a large group to stay together in the same residence.

You can book just one room or the whole chalet for your friends and family.

Note: No pets are allowed in this chalet.

Ski & Boot Rooms - Chalet Santons has its own secure boot lockers with boot heaters located in a communcal room with other chalets in the same building on the lower ground floor. Access to the boot room is by steps or a lift. Chalet Santons has three large, secure lockers for skis or boards only, located at the piste access entrance.

Under-ground Car Parking - located on the lower ground floor are 3 FREE car parking spaces, these are shared between all four of the chalets in the same building. Pre-booking your car parking space is essential. As its a secure car park, access is restricted to during host working hours only. Please call no later than 14 days before travel to arrange access on arrival and departure days.

• Arrive on a Monday and stay for 3, 6 or 7 nights
• Arrive on a Wednesday and stay for 5 nights
• Arrive on a Thursday and stay for 4, 6 or 7 nights

Chalet Hosts days off are Tuesday and Saturday (these days will vary over Christmas and New Year).

Check in/Out :

On arrival day - you may arrive at Chalet Cascade anytime from 09:30 to change, leave your bags and go skiing. Your bedroom will be ready by 17:00 at the latest but normally earlier.

Late Arrival Supplement - if you are scheduled to arrive at the chalet after 21:30 we will book a host to return to work to let you into the chalet, show you to your room, provide you with information to ensure your ski time is not delayed the next day and to provide you with a light supper. There is a small supplement for late arrivals.

On your departure day - bedroom checkout is 09:00 but we know that you may want to ski until the last minute, so we ensure that there is somewhere for you to leave your bags and change up until 5pm. Where possible a shower will be made available for you to use too; this cannot be guaranteed until your departure day.

Please note that on guest changeover days, between the hours of 09:30 and 17:00, both departing and arriving guests will be sharing the chalet public areas.

Getting To Your Chalet

Your mini-bus transfer from the airport will drop you at the door of the chalet.

Self drive - please pre-book one of the 3 FREE car parking spaces (shared between 4 chalets) when you book your holiday. No later than 14 days before travel please contact us to arrange access to the secure underground car park (max head height 2m).
