Overview - chalet description - Chalet Carlina Violette, Belle Plagne description

Brand new for winter 15/16, the Carlina Chalet Violette is a high-quality chalet in Belle Plagne ideal for taking in the Our Finest chalet experience. Violette is one of three new additions to the Our Finest range, and it's easy to see how it made the cut, with doorstep-skiing, a sauna and contemporary interiors as well as Crystal hosts to look after everything you need.
The chalet is a short walk from Belle Plagne’s shops and restaurants and overlooks a blue run between Belle Plagne and Bellecote.
The chalet layout has been really well thought-out with comfort in mind. The front of the chalet overlooks the mountain, giving great views down the valley and the spacious living room is on the middle floor.
Underfloor heating throughout also raises those comfort levels another notch, as do the flatscreen TV’s in every bedroom. All rooms are en-suite and there are a number with south-facing balconies for relaxing post-ski, or for your own private après too – the Carlina chalets have everything you could want from your own luxury mountain retreat.

In the Savoie region of the French Alps, La Plagne was established in the early sixties and now consists of 11 villages: 7 purpose built and 4 traditional. The aptly named Plagne Centre at the heart of the resort is the main hub of shops, restaurants and après ski. Just underneath lies Plagne 1800, a cluster of chalets spread across a steep hillside. Higher up are Aime-la-Plagne, Plagne-Soleil and Plagne-Villages, all accessible via chairlifts from Plagne Centre. Plagne Bellecote rests over a low ridge to th...

The slopes around the Belle Plagne area are particularly suitable for beginners, with the blue run linking Les Bauches to Montchavin, providing a manageable step up in difficulty from the nursery slopes. For those who class themselves as intermediate standard skiers this really is paradise. 77% of the runs are gra...

If this isn’t your idea of fun then ice climbing in Champagny and husky sledding are also on offer. One experience not to be missed is the bobsleigh track, used for Olympic training. There are a variety of ways you can choose to go down it, but they are all guaranteed to give you a thrill as you will hurtle down at ...
