Good chalet, excellent location. Good quality cooking and food. Heating did not work properly radiators did not go up. Despite requested breakfast on last morning was not served in time for transfer time. A boot rack for drying boots would be good. Nanny excellent . Situated in the very heart of Val d'Isere and just a stone's throw from the piste, Bel Sol enjoys arguably one of the best locations in resort. Bel Sol is handsomely designed with the living area and dining accommodation on the upper level with impressive vaulted ceilings. Two separate lounge areas offer generous space for relaxing in absolute comfort. The two terraces provide stunning views of la face piste and the resort′s ice rink.

Chalet Bel Sol has always been a firm favourite with previous guests due to its enviable location and sumptuous decor.

The chalet sleeps 6 to 8 people in absolute comfort. The Master bedroom has a modern en suite and balcony, there is a twin room, a cosy double and a very cute bunk room suitable for younger children. Bunk beds are charged at half of the adult price.

The owners various personal decorative touches make this a true home from home.

For guests staying in the Farmhouse we recommend the ski hire service from Killy, located in the centre of town next to the Tourist Office and just a few minutes walk from the chalet. Once you are settled and have sampled the afternoon tea that awaits you on arrival a member of the ski team will take you to the shop. We are confident you'll get the very best of service from the Killy team.

Our Executive Chef is passionate about food and hugely sensitive to the appetite of a hungry skier whilst considering a balanced diet. The new and refined menus are heavy enough to reward mountain exertion yet light and simple enough to leave you grinning not groaning.

All our catered ski holidays include;

  • Breakfast: Cooked and continental options served 6 mornings; self-serve on your host's day off.
  • Afternoon Tea: Freshly baked cakes or biscuits, bread, jams, teas, coffee, and hot chocolate.
  • Dinner: A 3-course meal (6 nights) with wine, followed by cheese and coffee.
  • Canapés: Served on the first and last evenings.

Enjoy flexibility and ease with our transfer options. While the fun of your holiday starts the moment you arrive at your resort, we make getting there as smooth as possible. Choose from complimentary scheduled transfers from Geneva every Sunday, or upgrade to a private transfer starting at just £12 per person return for the Portes du Soleil, or £48 to the Tarentaise. Fly into your preferred airport - Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble, or Chambéry - and we’ll take care of the rest. Our team is here to assist with your travel plans, ensuring a seamless journey from airport to resort.
We have 4 transfers departing Geneva on Sundays throughout the season, and 4 return transfers to choose from. We do require confirmation of seat reservation and outbound flight details at time of accommodation balance payment to secure your seats.

We loved it! The accommodation was lovely, comfortable, central. The chalet host was fabulous – absolutely no complaints. It was ideal for us because we had 2 couples and 3 kids. The living area was gorgeous, spacious very comfortable to come back to, with a lovely fire. Very homely. The food was very good. The location was perfect as it was right in the centre of everything. Worth not having a hot tub because the location made up for it. We went to a fabulous restaurant on the staff night off which did a great fondue. The ski area is fabulous and the Folie is worth going to, as is the apres bar in town – Cocoricos.

We particularly enjoyed Serena's moist sponge every afternoon and the kids tea was very good. Their enthusiasm for answering the many resort questions which we thrust upon them never wavered. Serena and Sam have been brilliant chalet hosts. Also Polly was amazing with the boys always doing fun activities. They will miss her greatly even though she was able to slash them at Bop it. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday and the inspiration for a Miranda esqu review. All the best x
