Chalet Antares (sleeps 6-8) - 1650m. The Antares has been a hugely popular part of our programme for a few years now and provides superb accommodation for groups of 6-8 people.
Situated in an attractive wood and stone clad Savoyarde chalet building, it is next to The Amelie so could provide a super option for two groups to combine whilst retaining independence and privacy. The Antares has been lovingly built by its current French owner who has made every effort to retain as much Alpine tradition as possible and there are many small additions and trinkety bits and pieces to make it feel like home. All bedrooms are ensuite with modern shower-rooms and there is the added bonus of a lovely Wellness Centre on the ground floor with a sauna and indoor jacuzzi in which to relax and rest those tired legs at the end of a hard day on the slopes (shared with Amelie). The living room with its open log fire and super balcony also provides a great area in which to gather and enjoy a well-earned slice of cake or chilled glass of House Wine.
The Antares is set in a peaceful location just below the high street of 1650, therefore access to the ski lifts, shops, bars and restaurants is extremely straight-forward and literally just a few minutes walk.
You will be warmly welcomed to The Antares by one of our hand-selected chalet hosts who lives out but nearby.
Did You Know: Antares is the name for the 15th brightest star in the galaxy forming part of the famous Milky Way - truly one of the brightest and most loved stars of our programme!

We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.
