Chalet Aigle d'Or (sleeps 9-10) 1650m. The Chalet Aigle d'Or is a fantastic property traditionally built in beautiful Savoyarde stone and wood cladding, popular with many of our guests for a good few years now.
Situated in the heart of Moriond's old village, it has really super, spacious accommodation for groups of 9 people with the added advantage of plenty of space for a 10th person (who goes at a discounted rate). The chalet has a wonderful open-plan living/dining room with a lovely open corner fireplace and large balcony with fantastic far-reaching views across the valley. And what better way to treat yourself at the end of the day than relaxing in the lovely hammam to soothe those aching legs before starting off your evening sitting in front of the log fire with your Chalet Wine and canapes.
The Chalet Aigle d'Or is positioned in a great location just below the high street which is accessed either by the nearby resort escalator or via a short (uphill) walk. So the popular bars, restaurants and shops of 1650 and perhaps most importantly, the main bubble lift accessing the vast Three Valley Area are all within just a stone's throw.
Did You Know: Aigle d'Or is translated as Golden Eagle, perhaps one of the world's most prestigious, gracious and clever birds of prey, not known for making mistakes, a bit like our Chalet Aigle d'Or, its hard to go wrong with it..!

We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.
