Overview - chalet description - Chalet Aigle - Les Bruyeres description

New for 2017/18 and recently named the joint-fourth best chalet in Europe by The Times, Chalet Aigle is located next to Chalet Faucon. Sitting at 1850m these properties offer instant access to the vast 3 Valleys ski area in a stunning south facing location near the centre of Les Bruyeres.

Few properties offer skiing families this level of space or such superb facilities. With a hot tub on the terrace, your own sauna, a purpose built cinema complete with Wii U, and a dedicated playroom you won’t struggle to entertain the family when you get back from your day on the slopes.

Add our in-chalet childcare service and high quality home cooked meals from your chalet chef and you have everything you need for the perfect family skiing holiday. All bedrooms are en-suite and offer flexible accommodation for groups of up to 17. You can also book as an individual family.

You can ski from the chalet to a choice of quick chairlifts giving speedy access to Les Menuires, Meribel and Val Thorens.

Families - any extra notes for parents with children

Our optional À La Carte Childcare is provided in the comfort of your own chalet 6 days a week by our childcare staff and private nannies. There is no need for a snowy walk or bus ride to a centralised crèche; our team create a welcoming ‘home away from home’ atmosphere the whole family will love.

  • Our childcare services take place in the ski chalet you stay in , not a large impersonal crèche.
  • Our childcare options are flexible and designed for skiing families, allowing you to book what most suits you and your children.
  • Our professional carers are a mix of qualified nannies , teachers and nurses supported by experienced assistants. All are recruited by us in the UK .
  • All of our childcare professionals are enhanced CRB (now DBS) and reference checked and hold a first aid qualification.
  • Ratios follow OFSTED recommendations for day care.

We offer flexible in-chalet childcare options for families, provided by our professional team to ensure you enjoy complete peace of mind from when you leave the chalet after breakfast to when you return from an exhilarating day on the slopes.

Together with Saint Martin De Belleville and Val Thorens, Les Menuires (say it Lay-Men-Weer) is part of the Vallée des Belleville and probably the cheapest base for the glorious skiing of the 3 Valleys. It’s true, this purpose-built resort’s more focussed on the practical than the aesthetic… but it’s made a valiant effort to shrug off the ‘ugly duckling’ rep - fitting a bit of a facelift in time for the Albertville Olympics. Split into various ‘quarters’ (linked by walking paths, ski runs, shuttle...
The resort has aimed to provide a wide variety for all abilities – and the proof is in the pudding! The opportunities are outstanding for skiers and snowboarders, but you would expect no less considering it is a part of the largest ski area in the world. Novices will find five free lifts either end of the resort for getting to grips on gentle little green runs, and longer greens such as La Violette at the top of the gondola from La Croisette. With a healthy mix of reds and blue runs covering the vast major...
End a day of skiing on the large sun terrace in L’Oisans and sit down in the sunshine with a jug of beer. Kick back with a cocktail or shoot some pool in the cosy Piano Bar Le Kube. Sports games are known to be aired on the TVs in venues like L’Original Café. If you ski over to Val Thorens be sure to go for some drinks at the famous Folie Douce. Those looking for some late night action have two night clubs to choose between; Le New Pop in La Croisette or Le Leeberty in Les Bruyères - an intimate underground ...
