Location - where is Aspen Hot Tub Suite 6

On the high street in the very centre of the village and only 250m from the lifts and nursery slopes.

Overview - chalet description - Aspen Hot Tub Suite 6 description

Sliding glass doors open from the high street onto a smart lounge area with open fire, giant cinema screen for kids evenings and big SKY sporting events, Nintendo Wii, pool table, complimentary internet screens, draft beer and coffee bar. We have a reception desk for advice, information and concierge service and lift access to the private accommodation suites above.

These suites have three bedrooms, with their own living and dining area and a dedicated chalet host.  Two of our 3 bedroom suites have private hot tub on the balcony, and there are 3 communal hot tubs on the terrace at the rear of the property for use by all guests staying the Aspen Lodge.

Aspen Lodge Larch suite 6 is one of our dedicated family chalets, infants and children are welcome in this suite all season long.

We are aware that some of our guests have found Aspen rather hot in the past and clearly it is not environmentally friendly to cool the building by opening the balcony doors. We are pleased (at last) to announce that we have successfully found a cunning way of reducing the ambient temperature in the building and restoring individual room controls by disabling a heat regeneration unit and incapacitating some sensors. Tests after the season (Spring 2014) have been successful and everyone will now be able to control the temperature in their lounge and bedrooms by an individual thermostat rather than opening the doors and melting the nursery slopes! Apologies to our Aspen faithful that it has taken us so long to work this out and many thanks for your enduring patience.

This package holiday to Aspen Hot Tub Suite 6 in Val d'Isere, France departs Wednesday 6th December 2017, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

In France's Rhone Alp region, Val d'Isere (pronounce it: val de saire/sare/ser) makes up half of Espace Killy which is widely thought of as one of the most brilliant and beautiful ski areas in the world. In keeping with the attractiveness of its surroundings, the resort itself is a compilation of alpine hamlets made up of cosy wood and stone chalets. With the original village dating back to the 13th century and eye-catching church steeple at its centre, the whole place is truly oozing alpine charm. And while dre...
In Val d'Isere you'll be skiing in the tracks of some of the world's greatest skiers. Olympic medallists Marielle and Christine Goitschel learned to ski there, not to mention triple gold winner Jean-Claude Killy, after whom the wider ski area is named. As an indication of its premier status, the resort has hosted championships including the 1992 Olympics the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2009, along with the World Cup every December. If some of the best skiers in history have learned here, beginners can...
Famed for its après ski, you're unlikely to have a dull evening in Val. The resort has 4 nightclubs including the legendary Dicks T Bar (open from 4pm - 5am). Living up to its name, you'll experience ‘sweet madness' at Le Folie Douce, which boasts some of the best après ski in Europe. “Bananas” is another favourite, well known for its fantastic cocktails and convenient slope-side location. In Val d'Isere's 92 restaurants, you'll find dishes to suit all tastes from traditional Savoyarde indulgence to Marga...

"Aspen lodge Sequoia"

Ashley Paxton
5/ out of 5
We are a family of 5 and were well looked after by our host Theo – I cannot think of another holiday where all family members have enjoyed the daytime activities as well as evening hospitality throughout (many thanks to our host). Aspen lodge itself is centrally located and not too far off piste (a mini bus service back from the slopes might be a nice idea however) and we particularly enjoyed having 3 bedrooms and living space for 5 of us to relax… and everything is clean and works. Aspen is well managed and all staff polite, well mannered and attentive.
