The Alpenland is the essence of simplicity and good value in Mayrhofen, ideal if you’re on a budget. The apartments are located just outside the centre, 5 minutes’ walk into town and to the main gondolas – so you can be on close to the action whilst still having a quiet place to rest your head.
Inside, the apartments are immaculately clean and decorated in simple Alpine style, with wooden furniture. They each have a kitchenette, with different amenities depending on the type, so you can choose which one suits you best. The supermarket is a short walk away, so you can stock up for the week – or just use the kitchenette for your morning coffee and explore the many restaurants in town.
The facilities are pretty limited, but there is WiFi and a ski storage room with heated boot racks, so no-frills skiers will have everything they need.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
