Discover Le Refuge de Baloo, an exceptional duplex apartment on the top floor of Chalet B at La Perle des Alpes in Bisanne 1500, a ski-in/ski-out residence. Nestling on the sunny slopes of Mont Bisanne, this flat offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Beaufortain valley and Mont Blanc. Its light-filled rooms and elegant style, combining fine wood and marble, invite you to relax and enjoy the mountains.

With its generous size, Le Refuge de Baloo can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. On the ground floor, a large living room with natural light features a fully equipped open-plan marble kitchen with a Lacanche piano and wine fridge, ideal for food lovers. The tastefully decorated living room offers a cosy space with a decorative fireplace where you can enjoy a video projector, but also a TV, a selection of DVDs and books for relaxed evenings after a day outdoors. Two spacious balconies complete this level: one for outdoor lunches, the other with deckchairs for relaxing in front of the mountains. Upstairs, the sleeping area comprises two bedrooms, one en suite with shower room and balcony, and a second bedroom with television and balcony. A children's corner with two beds creates a cosy refuge just for them. Finally, a beautiful bathroom with bathtub completes this intimate and refined floor.

The residence's additional assets are sure to impress: take advantage of the heated indoor swimming pool in chalet F to relax after a day on the slopes. Two basement parking spaces and a ski locker equipped with a boot warmer add to the comfort of skiers.

Situated just 6 km from the centre of Les Saisies, Le Refuge de Baloo enjoys privileged access to the Espace Diamant via the new Rosières cable car, with an easy return via the Planay blue run. La Perle des Alpes is a haven of peace and quiet in winter, and an ideal starting point for fantastic hikes in summer. As well as direct access to the ski slopes, you can also take advantage of the vast cross-country skiing area of Les Saisies, renowned for its spectacular views.

Everything you need for a carefree stay is on hand, including a mini-market, restaurants, ski and mountain bike hire and a ski school. Free shuttle buses, at the foot of the residence, take you to the lively centre of Les Saisies in summer and winter alike. Whether you enjoy alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking or hiking, Le Refuge de Baloo is the perfect base for a great holiday in the heart of the Alps.

The existence of the Les Saisies is all thanks to an Austrian ski instructor called Erwin Eckl in 1935. The scenery reminded him of the Tyrolean landscape back home (in fact, the area is often referred to as “French Tyrol”), and he began to dream up his perfect ski resort. Within a year he’d opened a chalet hotel, and by 1956 a drag lift had appeared. Slowly but surely the resort grew, and in 1992 it starred as the host of the Nordic races in the Olympic games. The 77km of local slopes link up with the Espace Dimant ski area via the Trolliers and Plan Corbet blue and green runs. Covering 192km, the Espace Dimant connect Saisies and Hauteluce with Praz sur Arly, Flumet, Notre Dame de Bellecombe and Crest-Voland/Cohennoz.
