The great-value Aparthotel Olimpiades has one of the most convenient locations in Pas de la Casa – there’s direct access to the largest ski area in the Pyrenees and you’re just a minute’s walk from the heart of the buzzing Andorran resort. And when we say direct access, we mean that you’re literally right on the slopes – so close that you can watch the ski lift zoom past your window.

With Tetras-like windows and coloured rings mounted high on its exterior, the modular appearance of the Aparthotel Olimpiades really stands out.

Inside, the apartments are stylishly designed, with a mixture of cool colours and modern furnishings. Each have a functional kitchenette and clean, contemporary bathrooms and shower rooms, too.

There’s also easy access to the terrace on the bottom floor where you can stop for a bite to eat at any time of the day – from morning omelettes and lunchtime pizzas to real winter-warmer dishes like tartiflette – or relax with a post-ski drink when the famed local après kicks off – the happy hour is not one to be missed.

This package holiday to Aparthotel Olimpiades in Pas De La Casa, Andorra departs Sunday 12th December 2021, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 15/16 was between 50p and £2 per person, per night.

Not only is Pas de la Casa the highest ski resort in the Pyrenees (it sits at a lofty 2100m), but it’s also the sunniest. The après ski scene is arguably one of the best in Europe, and the resort is also home to some of the best shopping in the country… so far, so good! The first lift was installed by ski legend Francesc Viladomat in 1956, and the resort has been growing ever since. The variety of terrain is apparent as soon as you leave the village- from the six seater Font Negre or the smaller Costa Rodonda you’ll be able to access one of the regions snowparks, the boardercross track, beginners zone and a freeriding area. The beginners area at the base of the valley has a few incredibly gentle lifts and approachable nursery slopes and at the end of the day all levels of skier can ski right down into the village – the red/blue Tubs will take you virtually to the door of your hotel. ...
Pas de La Casa really comes into its own when it comes to the après scene, with locals and tourists alike taking liberal advantage of the duty free drink prices and late opening times. Eating out is much cheaper than you’d expect in a ski resort as well- most of the restaurants serve a selection of family friendly European food, though you’ll be able to find some local Andorran specialties (such as the warming escudella stew) at Costa Rodona. There’s a McDonalds and a Burger King for the unadventurous, w...
