The resort's location is fantastic: Only an hour's drive from Innsbruck airport, parents can minimise the all-too-familiar “are we nearly there yet?” while snow lovers can maximise their time on the piste. The family friendly nature doesn't stop with its convenient location – restauran...

"The hotel was fabulous and we had an amazing week!"

The practical things – it’s close to both the Penken and Ahorn lifts (an easy five minute walk) although it’s uphill back from the town. Our room was gorgeous; we got the last couple of rooms left and were given the larger room which was one of the best I’ve stayed in. I would definitely pay for the upgrade. They cooked something fresh for breakfast every morning, with a different option every day as well as cereal, bread, porridge etc. They didn’t do dinner in the hotel but you could pay for a half board package which included meals in a nearby restaurant. We didn’t opt for this but ended up in the restaurant most days anyway (even though there was plenty of choice in town). Everything we ordered was fine and it was only a five minute walk from the hotel. The whole place was spotless. There was a heated room for our boards and things and we each had our own key so you could let yourself in. The staff were great and the lady in charge was an angel, I went into Germany one day and she sat me down with maps etc, telling me the best places to go. I would definitely recommend this hotel and want to stay here again!
