If you’re keen to get the most out of Whistler, you’d struggle to beat the Aava Hotel. First of all it’s in an ideal location - less than 5 minutes' walk from the base of Whistler mountain, where you not only get the gondola for both Whistler and Blackcomb but you can ski back to the base of Whistler from either mountain. You’re right by the centre of the main Whistler Village, but tucked just outside so it's nice and quiet.
The Aava has everything you need in a ski hotel – there’s a good breakfast included, large and luxurious rooms, a swimming pool and hot tub, and even free GoPro hire and WiFi – so you can video your day, post it on Facebook and make all your friends jealous.
