A chalet is a really great way to enjoy a traditional feeling alpine holiday. Whilst chalets were previously a catered only option, they are now being opened up as self-catering accommodation, providing the best of both worlds.
The Chalet d’Isola is a great choice for a group or family looking for the comfort of a chalet, without breaking the bank for catering services. Situated just 200m from the centre of the resort, this cosy accommodation is in a great location.
The Chalets de La Diva are 4 brilliantly located chalets, 100 m from the slopes, with views stretching over the neighbouring Valley and the National Park of Mercantour.
Self-catering holidays needn’t revolve meal planning and washing up. With lots of great restaurants offering a mixture of French and Italian cuisine, you will definitely find a reason to go nowhere near the kitchen at least a couple of nights a week. If you fancy something warming, head to La Raclette for traditional Savoyarde cheese dishes like tartiflette and fondue. Once you’ve eaten enough cheese, try Le Petit Chamois for some excellent Italian cooking.
If it’s a catered chalet you’re after, check out what’s available in other high altitude ski-in ski-out resorts include Avoriaz and Val Thorens. To have a browse through all our French catered chalets, click here.
No matter how you like to organise your holiday, we have options to suit you. A package including flights and transfers takes the stress out of decision making and internet trawling, holidays with channel crossings for those who enjoy driving are available, as are accommodation only deals, for those who haven’t yet got round to the finer details of travel plans.
