Self-catering lets your trip to Waidring pan out just how you’d like it to. Hiring a car from the airport, or driving from home can be helpful as you’ve got a set of wheels at hand throughout the week when you need it. Drive to the nearest hypermarket for cheaper food or head out to explore the restaurants in the region. A car can also be useful if you’re opting for the Schneewinkel or Salzburg Superski passes, as you can set off to your chosen resort for the day whenever you want to.
Though if you pick the right accommodation, you might not need a car at all. The Reiter lodging has a handy position 250m from the slopes, with the nearest grocery shop even closer, and a restaurant even closer than that! There’s a Spar supermarket on Unterwasser 14 and if you want to eat out, favourite restaurants include Zardini's Schindldorf for great Italian grub.
