Situated just 50m from the slopes, it’s perfect for little ones who don’t want to walk too far with heavy equipment. It is high in the village, so the views are spectacular, and whilst the bars and restaurants are not at all far, it is slightly quieter in the evenings, which is perfect for families or those just wanting to chill. Alternatively, in the centre of 1800, you’ll find the Residence Les Lodges de Pierres Valmeinier. Just a stone’s throw away from the bars, shops and restaurants with panoramic views of the surrounding Maurienne Valley, it’s a brilliant choice for anyone who loves to party as much as they love to ski.

Apartments are such a good choice for anyone looking for a ski holiday on a budget, or for people who don’t like the rigid routine that comes hand in hand with catered accommodation. It also doesn’t mean that those staying in self-catered accommodation will spend the week chained to the kitchen.
