Is scuba diving offered, and do I need certification?
Divers must complete a medical questionnaire and meet health requirements to ensure fitness to dive. Participants under 18 need written parental authorization, and all divers must stop diving at least 18 hours before flying. Certification is not required for beginner programs, but advanced divers must provide valid medical certificates and diving credentials. Please note that additional terms and conditions apply.

What is the best time to visit Club Med Kani?
The best time to visit Club Med Kani in the Maldives is during the dry season from November to April, when you’ll enjoy warm temperatures, clear skies, and calm seas — perfect for outdoor activities like snorkelling, diving, sailing and beach days. This period brings plenty of sunshine and excellent water visibility, making it ideal for exploring the vibrant coral reefs and marine life.
That said, May to October is the wet (monsoon) season, with higher humidity and occasional showers. While there’s a greater chance of rain during these months, the Maldives remains warm year‑round, and this time can still be a great option for travellers seeking fewer crowds, better value and exciting diving conditions, with opportunities to see wildlife like manta rays drawn to the richer plankton in the water.
