The landscapes of Guilin are among the most beautiful in China. The enchanting beauty of its karstic landscapes give their characteristic shape to the banks of the River Li, attracting millions of visitors from China and around the world. The city gets its name from the osmanthus, a local tree that gives pretty red or white flowers from June to July. Guilin means “the osmanthus forest”.

Junior Club Med
The temperature here is perfect for active fun on land and sea, so 11-13 year olds can enjoy an action-packed holiday. 14-17 year olds can work on their skills playing team sports, or chat by the poolside. At the Climbing Rock, you can enjoy natural rock climbing in a safe environment. The Resort also has an indoor Climbing wall.

Archery
"Ready, aim, fire!" Next to the tennis courts, the voice of a G.O® rings out across the clearing. Among the conifers, apprentice archers are concentrating hard. Children are on one side, adults on the other. Their targets are positioned at different distance but young and old alike are aiming for the same thing: to leave the archery range victorious.

Fitness and Tai Chi
Move your hands like clouds, grasp the bird's tail and stroke the horse's neck. Tai Chi has a very poetic way of describing its movements. And what better place to learn than where it all began? Trapeze & Circus
Launch yourself from the Flying Trapeze platform, close to the lakes that borders the Resort. Swing skywards among the treetops, with the jagged mountains as a backdrop. Entertainment
Welcome to this open-air museum, one of the Middle Kingdom's best-kept secrets. Bordered by lakes and filled with history, this natural park holds dozens of works of art. At night, the lights shimmer and the party begins. The circus acts are particularly spectacular. In the 2nd half of the evening, you can take centre stage for dancing and games.

Defy gravity and try climbing, whether on karst mountains outdoors (summer) or indoors in La Lanterne (all-year round).The rock climbing in Guilin is the ideal spot combining the fun of sports with breathtaking views. Our well-trained rock climbing G.Os will prepare you carefully with professional equipment to ensure your safety and recommend the area suitable for your level. Confident and composed, try to discover numerous routes hidden in the cracks along your adventure upwards. Our G.Os are always there to keep you safe and make recommendation when necessary. The Atelier

Located in The Atelier, this air-conditioned main restaurant serves a colourful and tantalising array of freshly prepared dishes. Discover Chinese cuisine, with a choice of Sichuanese, Cantonese and Hainan regional dishes. The terrace provides a tranquil setting with a magical view of the mountains beyond.

The Lotus

Experience the Zen feel of Chinese dining, complete with traditional turning table tops. You can sample delicious local Chinese dishes, in addition to western cuisine too. Booking is required at Reception.

The Noodle Bar

You'll never look at a noodle in the same way again after discovering the huge variety from all regions of China available at the Noodle Bar. Located in the great ambience of The Courtyard, the restaurant is open from 2pm to 6pm and 9pm to 11pm, for an authentic and memorable Chinese dining experience.

Mongolia restaurant

Located on the third floor of the Atelier, The Rooftop Restaurant has fantastic views over the sculpture park and majestic mountains beyond. Dine on divinely roasted meat at the Mongolian grilled meat, or enjoy a Chinese fondue.

The Atelier Bar

For lively entertainment in the centre of the Resort, take the family, loved ones, friends or partner for a game of Mah-jong or pool. And once the kids are in bed, try your talents at karaoke and enjoy fine wines into the early hours in this main bar.

Poolside Bar
