Changbaishan, a dormant volcano and a national nature reserve which name literally means the "Perpetually White Mountain Region" is located in the northeast of China on the border with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, in Jilin Province, a mountainous region with lush forests and great snow cover in winter.

Tianchi: this crater lake is located at the top of the main volcanic cone on Changban Mountain, at 2189 metres altitude. As highest volcano lake in the world, it is the most famous scenic spot of Changbaishan and a must-see site in this area.
Underground Forest is an untouched forest at the lowest altitude of Changbaishan area. Famous for its view of virgin forests, it is rich with natural resources as pine trees, mushrooms (not edible), creeks and waterfalls. Here, you can also enjoy the beautiful alpine flowers.
Manchu Museum: located in Changbaishan, birthplace of Manchu culture, this museum is the only one in China centered on Changbaishan Manchu traditional culture. It has 11 exhibition areas with one dedicated to Mount Changbai, famously known as a mountain traditionally worshipped by the Manchu. Here, discover the production customs of the Manchu in the Mount Changbai area, their daily life customs, culture, history, and art.
Ski in winter: with its amazing ice and snow scenery, great snow quality for skiing. Changbaishan International Ski Center is among the largest ski resort in China with its 40 km of slopes. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 820 and 1210 m.
