Outside the Resort, a world of discoveries awaits you. You are in the centre of Casamance, a region with ancestral traditions. African culture is on show here in all its diversity. The Diola, Huluf or Selek dialects define different "countries" with bush and bolongs, the arms of the sea that thread their way through the typical landscapes of the region. From the markets of the fishermen's villages to a Diola mass, you'll be blown away by the magic of the country.

Group lessons are available, and you can also sign up for extra classes to perfect your technique. Or go straight to the 9 hole course, with sweeping views down to the ocean.

The Resort has an intoxicating tropical charm. Hoist the sail and cast off: it's time to make the most of the beautiful expanse of blue. Go down to the sandy beach and set sail in a catamaran, specially chosen to be easy to manoeuvre. Experienced sailors can set out to sea unaccompanied. Learners have a G.O® in the boat with them.

Golf overlooking the ocean
Lined by majestic coconut trees swaying from the Atlantic winds, the golf course of the Cap Skirring Resort is a spectacular spot with 9 holes (on demand) backing onto the beach. Practice your swing in harmony with the sea breeze. Challenge your team-mates on the putting green, and count up the points before raising a glass to your victory.

Bring home a piece of Casamance, whether it comes from the exhibitions of local craftsmen, or even better, from your own creation made during the workshop of local crafts offered by our partners in resort.
Meet and support the locals
Just near the Resort, meet the Senegalese women whose products supply Club Med. They meet near a well built by the Club Med Corporate Foundation, which develops a supply network for local fresh produce. Later on, sample an assortment of seasonal carrots, turnips and green beans, grown using agroecological methods.
Line fishing in the bolongs
This morning, embark on a trip to discover the bolongs (excursion on demand). Beginner or advanced, experience the adrenaline of fishing the most beautiful red carp, ray or sea bream of the day. On the boat, learn patience and precision thanks to precious advices from the Casamence fishermen. The best part of the trip ? Enjoy your grilled fish on a preserved island in the heart of the mangrove.
