I did a ski season in Mont Tremblant and qualified as a snowboard instructor here so know it rather well! It's a great intermediate size resort, that boasts a variety of runs, not to mention good off-piste on the heavily wooded slopes. Abundant snow cannons combined with a cold climate make it snow sure. The resort offers two snowparks. Mont Tremblant is also an ideal family area, with a cosy feel and friendly ski school. The nightlife will satisfy party animals, Café d'Époque has some of the best bartenders I have ever seen, lighting the bar on fire amongst other tricks (they blow fiery oil from bottles into the crowd - don't look up!) and there are a number of restaurants to relax in.

If Whoville was designed as a ski resort, Tremblant would be it. Brightly coloured and quirky designs buildings, this is the one place I would happily return time and time again if I could only go skiing in one resort. Awesome piste, welcoming and hospitable, pleasant bars, perfect size and close proximity to the mountain. I wouldn't change a thing, it is quite simply my favourite resort... ever! The Yahoo bar was a favourite (hopefully it's still there) and the sweet shops were amazing for children. Beginners to experienced, everyone should go there at least once!
