Generally ok, a few odd bits

Reviewed 27 Apr 2015

My apartment was generally ok, although it wasn’t premium by any means. It was smaller than they look in the pictures, it’s listed as a four man and I’d say that for one or two people it would be fine, but with four there wouldn’t be a lot of room for manoeuvring. Depending what side of the hotel you were staying on, you either got mountain views or views of the carpark (I was the latter).
The shower wasn’t a problem and the beds were fine and fairly comfortable, but I had to get two of the blankets changed because one had a hole and the other had a funny stain.
There were a few other odd bits: I didn’t find the cutlery until the second day because the cutlery drawer turned out to be under the TV cabinet. The apartment had a percolator but not a kettle which I also heard someone else complaining about. I mentioned it to reception and they gave me a kettle straight away, but there was never anything that told you reception had kettles if you needed them. I think a previous guest must have broken off the bottom of the teapot and superglued it back together so I had to get that swapped. The kitchen also had a few chips and scratches on the surface.
On a positive, although you had to clean the kitchen bit, they provided you with a box of cleaning stuff and a few dishwasher tablets. Getting food wasn’t too bad as there was a shop within a five minute walk.
The apartments are said to be ski in and ski out. I can see how you could have skied in if there had been more snow (tried it on the first day but gave up as the stones would have scraped my snowboard to bits) but I couldn’t work out how it would have been possible to ski out.
My biggest bugbear was waiting to get into the apartment when we arrived. When I got there at 2pm there were already quite a few people waiting because they were still cleaning the apartments. I was hoping to get a couple of hours on the slopes but ended up spending them in the reception instead. The reception staff were helpful enough but it was a shame we had to wait so long.
