Cool, chilled intermediate playground

Me and 2 friends visited for a long weekend at the end of January 2020. We only heard of LAAX because of it's famed snow parks, but we were pleasantly surprised by the extent, quality and variety of the slopes, it is a intermediate skiers paradise.

The runs from the Vorab glacier are breathtaking, along with the area around La Salia, whilst the resort runs in the trees are real thigh burners. Everything tends to congregate at the Galaxy complex at Crap Sogn Gion, which is brilliant for meeting up with friends/mixed abilities.

The resort has very chilled and cool vibe, with modern bars and restaurants, and is an easy transfer from Zurich airport via train/bus. We loved it and will definitely be back.
