A great week here

We had a great stay at La Petite Ferme. It’s a very nice chalet, I don’t have any complaints, we enjoyed it! It’s really nicely done up with a cool living area that has a nice big open fire and high ceilings. Our master bedroom was good. The bathroom was a little small but that’s because it’s a very old chalet, and it’s difficult to get more space in the eaves. It was still very well done with nice, modern facilities.
The food was very good.
The location isn’t the absolute easiest it could be, but it was pretty good. It isn’t right at the bottom of the lift but that’s not a bad thing, I wouldn’t have wanted to stay there anyway as it gets quite busy. This chalet is still within walking distance, which was fine for me.
Characterful chalet

This chalet is full of character, thick stone walls, beautiful ceiling beams, and a spacious living / dining room with a large open fireplace. A very good chalet for families as there is also a mezzanine ‘snug’ with a TV, PS3 and surround sound. The finishings in the chalet were of exceptional standard, making it a very comfortable stay, heated floors downstairs, with a heated boot room, all very comfortable ensuite bedrooms with the exception of the bunk bed room which is great for kids. Although as it is an old chalet there are a few low beams, but its all part of the character! It is located in the heart of the old town near the church so it is quiet at night, yet still in the centre of Val d’Isere. There is also a ski service in the mornings to drop you to the slopes. The chalet hosts are very accommodating and friendly, the food was a very high standard with everything made fresh, its all about the quality and service here.
